i have a Sony Dream Machine ICF-CS15iP from 2011!! it docks all my ipods in my office, and man it sounds good! i thrifted it for $12.99...though i have thought about picking up one of the Bose SoundDocks from the time...they sound pretty good too!!
they're called "ipod universal dock adapters" - apple sold them in these boxes bundled with the dock itself and separately in a pack of 3 for specific devices as far as i remember
hey man, sorry im a bit late to the video. 2 years.. haha so idk if this'll even reach you. i have the universal dock, from 2007, however the audio is faulty. i have been screwing it open trying to repair it, but it just won't bulge. the power works just fine, but when i plug the audio in i get music, with a sort of Whining noise, that goes from high to low pitch in a few seconds, pops, and then the audio is gone. any ideas?
No I am still active... yeah I just have not had time with college and work.... My eBay page is what makes me the most money... the videos are a side hussle but since I can't do daily uploads RUclips kills me in the algrothum... I got a vid coming out tommarow though
hello, it would be amazing if you could do a quick video showing the manual of the 1st Gen Dock from 2003, I just fought very hard with this old thing since you pointed out in this video that the plastic can be removed for different size iPods, and I think it could be much easier for people watching this in the future since there is almost no documentation about the 2003 Dock online. the 2005 s-video version also has a full blown kit like the 2003 if your can find it! cables, remote, documentation, the works
For the s video version, it could also be for the iPod nano 5 which had a video camera
Some of the info in this video is incorrect, such as the reference to S-Video being digital, or to an RF scanner, even though the docks used infrared
