The glue needs to flash over becoming very tacky and not wet. You should be able touch it without wet glue coming off on your finger. You can walk on it right away as the LVP is installed
Dull side goes down, the shiny side is a thin layer of wax to keep the tile protected during and after installation until the tile is cleaned and waxed
Question....I have a lot of dogs and want to put VCT in my house. I have used wood, pergo, vinyl, & they either peed on or scratched it...and ruined it. I liked the vinyl the best but they scratched it. Can you up a wax on this type of floor or will it peal off?? I would use the vinyl again but only if I could put three layers of thick wax on the VCT to hold up to the claws and pee of the puppies and the dogs. Let me know your thoughts? What products work best for this? Any help appreciated :-)
this product is LVP and his installation methods are incorrect. NEVER staircase your material. your starting pieces for the first 4 rows should not be 4', 3', 2', 1' in order which creates a staircase. Instead, they should run 4', 1', 3', 2'. creating a stronger floor with a more appealing look and it's manufacturer recommended for any plank material. True professionals know this.

Great job looks awesome and your glue technique very professional.
You know your a pro when you got the circle loop swoosh and roll to lay down that glue shits harder than it looks peeps
"Wow" Beautiful job...
... and your nails still look "Marvelous" Darling... (Smile)...
Those vac packs are da bomb💣
Great job, I like this work.
Wow... I have never seen anyone work on such a large section at one time.
Thats because you are not supposed to walk on them and the glue. Also working time of some glues can be 10+hrs
I dont understand why some installer like to use this type of trowels ,they suck . and I did not see them using the 100 lbs roller.
catrashoo what trowel you use fuck face?
Catrasho lol
Catrasho uses products made only in jonduras
looks great
. thanks for the video
Your glue trowel is bent leaving more glue in the middle of your trowel pass
Beautiful job.
Looks like lvp but everyone calls the stuff by different names. As we go by LVT luxury vinyl tile and Lvp luxury vinyl planks
wow dude...you really did a nice job on that! .....I subbed you!
That my dear sir is not a nice job not for a so called professional. A homeowner maybe...

Why da faq would he lay out tje entore floor w glue like this??? Nutty! I use enuf 2 just stay ahead of my self.
That is not VCT...? That is LVT or LVP
Vinyl Planking
plus did they even let the glue dry first? where's the spray down if it was?
The title stands for Very Crappy Technique not Vinyl Composition Tile
My vinyl flooring not sticking...which adhesive glue should i use?
Depends on the manufacturer and the material. Glues specifically for lvp/lvt are extremely tacky once allowed to flash over.
Ano po gamit nu boss rodelang bakal ba oh paleta lang
Some narration would be nice.
agreed, very limited information
You need to put some more pressure on putting the glue my man, your leaving a lot of glue
How long after you lay the glue are you able to walk on floors and lay yr planks 🧐?
The glue needs to flash over becoming very tacky and not wet. You should be able touch it without wet glue coming off on your finger. You can walk on it right away as the LVP is installed
What kind of glue did you use?
Appreciate the video. Would have been nice to hear some commentary though
VCT tiles has a dull side and a shiny side which side goes up and which side goes down and what is the reason?
Dull side goes down, the shiny side is a thin layer of wax to keep the tile protected during and after installation until the tile is cleaned and waxed
What is adhesive ?
gustav trullet glue
He needed to explain materials needed,,,,, like what kind of glue do we buy?
Buy Elmer's, Einstein.
I would smoke these at gluing.
Lol yeah guys a turtle
Same. Lol
Nice job but I don't know how the lady works with the long nails.

Not many people would even see a staircase pattern so I wouldn't be critical of someone else's work.
Yeah looks like a DIY guy.....Definetly not a floorcoverer. Wrong notch trowel, too much glue and so many puddles!
@@williamdavid3306 I concur
@@jacobmartin861 he would be let go the first day at my shop. Lol.
Agreed but this isn’t Lvp it’s lvt
Is it ok to install on wet glue?
No lol
@@athlon5150 how does it stick if not wet?
Because it’s sticky when it dries… if you install when wet it’s slippery and it will come up through the seams…
