      That doesn't make sense. People smile for a thousand different reasons and body language experts can differentiate between them in the context of the story and the non verbal signs. His smiles seem to me a very obvious way to cope with the surreal nature of the situation, he was smiling throughout, and he's not close to the victim so no surprise there's no grief. And I'm not even an expert, I'm sure they could give you a hundred more clues of innocence. Sure it's not an exact science, but it helps investigators where to focus on until the evidence backs them up.

      geri stevens They were referring to the "grandmother" of the story. When the murderer's brother was interviewed, he made a comment about their mother, saying that "she did the best she could after all the fathers left", basically Implying that each of his mother's 4 kids had a different father, & that they each immediately left her & each kid when she had them, & that she wasn't a great mother/ person, lol

      People whose benchmark for intelligence is finishing high school make me concerned. These days most people can easily obtain passes so getting a high school diploma isn't difficult. And University education - whilst being expected for most people so it's loss some of the value it used to have - is still a better indicator of intelligence. The entire family is intellectually deficient. They indicated this in their behaviour after the murder where they went out and used the poor woman's ATM card at an ATM and tried to send the woman's sister a message using her phone and the message was full of spelling errors which wasn't typical of their sister.

      @Adara007 4 года назад +2

      @@memylife98 Similar thoughts here. I think sometimes those of us who have undertaken various degrees and postgraduate studies often will be harsher judges of ourselves than many of those who are like that awful murdering male and his mother who come across as not only the type who look like they've a long history of inter-cousin marriage down the centuries, but they definitely over-estimate their intelligence! They even seem to think they are cunning or have street-smarts but their behaviour indicates they don't even have this and instead are people devoid of morals and any ethics lacking empathy, and most likely not only highly narcissistic but also exhibiting signs of sociopathy - although they would need a professional to assess them in person for a definitive diagnosis of sociopathy which, of course, is nowadays being put under the umbrella term of Antisocial Personality Disorder in the latest DSM. They definitely are over-estimating their alleged intelligence and exhibit barely concealed arrogance. It is somewhat ironic, really, how many people who, like yourself, have obtained their Masters whether by coursework or dissertation and who, often despite various academic achievements, have what you would likely know is called "imposter syndrome", frequently a situation which affects and afflicts often very intelligent individuals who doubt their self-worth and tend to be highly critical of their own abilities which is often in stark contrast to the way others may view them and definitely in contrast to individuals like those murderers in the video above.
      If you are someone who is doubting your abilities and you've worked hard academically, and obtained one or more postgraduate credentials, try to work on your self-esteem perhaps beginning with a book I personally found very helpful which is a bit old-fashioned but still an excellent
      book which is a great help for those who find it difficult to set boundaries with others and often doubt their self-worth.
      This book is titled, "When I Say No, I Feel Guilty". That book was one among many that, in the days before the internet and especially social media was commonplace, and when information about dealing with narcissistic parenting and recovering or healing the damage such parenting did to one' sense of self-worth was not widely available online, unlike these days. I found good techniques and advice in that book, among others.from books focusing solely on self-esteem matters to others involving how to appropriately deal with and express anger (such as a book titled "Feeling The Fire: Experiencing and Expressing Anger Appropriately" by a John Lee, from memory) - an important, often over-looked facet of helping one's self-esteem because unless people learn how to express anger appropriately, it tends to get bottled up, turned inward and into depression, and one's self-esteem suffers as a result. The book about "When I Say No, I Feel Guilty" is somewhat old-fashioned and a bit misogynistic in its assumptions and language at times, but it is nevertheless still a classic and for good reason. It has a list of basic human rights which are helpful in terms of knowing your rights in any relationship, and the author provides examples of assertiveness in various contexts, along with different techniques. And, once someone has learnt these, begun to practise them and, critically, has started to feel comfortable using these different techniques in assertiveness and thereby being able to be politely yet firmly assertive with others, whether pushy salespeople to relatives, and anyone else, for that matter. Once one is able to be comfortably assertive with others, they'll find they're much more likely to have healthier relationships with others and a much better sense of self-worth than before. I hope this is helpful for you. Best wishes, from Australia.

      The most dangerous time for a abused woman is when she leaves her boyfriend or husband, so you really don't know what you're talking about, I know this first hand with my mother, you really need to check your facts.

    I was married to an abusive narcissist woman. I presented the court with REAMS of proof, police reports, her own WORDS in text messages admitting to the abuse, acceptance INTO an abuser program, etc.
    She stood there, CRIED, and with NO evidence, said, "He abused me." That was it. Judge said, "Well, it looks like there was abuse on BOTH sides."
    I was TOO shocked to even respond.
