I've been off in turn 8, it's not as fun as it seems. Also watched a Corvette jump the burm on the left side of turn 3 and clear the fence. He pulled into the pits on the access road. The flagger, Bobby, thought she miscounted the cars lol

Fun Willow Springs fact: If that many people crowded onto the bleachers at the end of the straight, the bleachers would collapse because all the wooden benches are rotten and the frame is rusting

I saw that race in person, it was last year in vallelunga, that day porsche and mini cup plus a formula category raced in the moring, the in the afternoon there were gt3s, the ev smart were just e little bonus, but overall that was the best race of the day

I love Willow Springs. The sand realm giveth and the sand realm taketh away, you may win one race with a huge margin and then get taken out by the sand realm at turn 1 the next. It's always good fun!

I got diagnosed with Carpel Tunnel Syndrome last week. So im going to have to stop practicing for a while. Did three laps, of practice due to pain, and jumped in. Got my qualy laps ruined both times, then got punted lap 2. I was around 7/8 seconds behind 18th in lap 2. I was very happy to be fighting with you lot all things considered by lap 16. Either way, the audi was just OP. Lovely seeing you on track as always mate x

I ran the Medium-Hard-Medium strategy as well, best placing of 4th as a class C controller muppet but wish I had the room for a rig!

Can confirm as well...entry into 1 is a slow rolling rollercoaster of camel humps...you pucker up on a motorcycle when you’re pogo-ing into the braking zone on the front wheel alone. 😬

I did 2 pit stops and a little fuel saving and just hammered it round and got 6th. Didn't even think about a 3 stop. Maybe I missed something. Good job and great video as ever. Bravo super gt

I spent most of that main race trying to work out if that guy was using my AON Ford livery on his Mustang and at the end the answer was no. Still crazy that someone else thought to put that livery on a Mustang as well.

It may not be your best track, but IMO this track is great, its really satisfying nailing those long corners and the racing you can have there is amazing, as you experienced here. Sad that GTS doesn't have the Streets of Willow, a shorter tighter track, intended for slower vehicles and even more technical than this one. Also I wish they would bring VIR to Gran Turismo, such a great track, huge with high speed and slow technical corners, multiple configurations, really satisfying to drive and can also produce some great racing

I love Willow Springs. I hate that there are hot air balloons and a bridge in the game. That doesn’t exist (balloons) and there is no bridge to the infield. Just some really old and weathered spectator stands.

Had a brutal race here last night. Did a 1:20 in practice then proceeded to oversteer off the track all race (despite pitting three times for new tires!) Was in the Alfa.

Whenever I play racing games with my friends they always say that because I am so reckless with turning and on straights I actually get good times because when I crash from speeding on a straightaway I immediately get back into max gear and make up for the crash.
I was very happy with my race running 6th in a merc. Then I ditched it to 10th. Come back on the last 2 laps and some kind folk bummed me into the first corner and I got a 2 second pen. Really happy finishing 18th🥴
I had such an amazing time yesterday, climbed from 14th to 8th 😁
TURN 9!!!!! My NEMESIS!!! hahaha. Its takes the lives of many a driver that corner does.

Aw mate this circuit was a nightmare, I felt blessed i managed to come in 6th on my first race, but my 2nd attempt was a disaster, after a few times in sand, I just couldn’t control car anymore at all. Lexus was doing pretty well tho

I rage quit the first time slot race. Decided to try again in the last time slot, which was a little after midnight. Ended up spinning so far off the track, I got disqualified. Zero points, and zero sleep for this guy.
So hope u see this comment cause this should help u at all willow tracks. For some reason the dirt/sand here is brutal, so much that even when u dip a tire over the apex rumble strip and come into contact with the dirt, it will have u go slower to hold the turn. Me and a few buddies tested this for a whole day and could not keep up with lead car that didnt touch dirt
