@@hannahdivic28 I don’t know much about the comics but from other videos I’ve watched, Kang has so many “Variants “ from other time lines created from everytime someone has time traveled. Some of his “variants” are good and some are bad, the one in the upcoming Antman is the one that want to conquer the multiverse… I believe. Hope that helps
I hope there is a Luis storytime breakdown in some point in this movie. I really like that about the Ant-man movies. 😆 Edit: Sadly there wasn't a Luis storytime breakdown 😔. Still a good movie but would have been better with the Ex-con team included albeit just briefly.
Watch it happen in the beginning of the movie, like they’re going alright let’s just get this out of the way real quick cause we gotta kill some of these guys by the end of the movie 😂
The loophole they created: In Endgame, Scott says the 5 years of being trapped in the Quantum Realm during the Blip felt like 5 hours, but Janet had been trapped for 35 years, so wouldn't have Janet only felt like it was 35 hours, but yet, Janet seemed to have experienced the full 35 years. I hope Quantumania answers how time isn't just 1 hour = 1 year.
Exactly my thoughts. There may be an exponential time change instead of linear, or maybe the advancement of technology changed the ratios. There's a lot to mess with, but it's a detail that they never really addressed
I think different places in the quantum realm experience time differently, ant man may have been on the surface level just collecting quantum particles while Janet lived INSIDE the realm and fully experienced it
As they didnt fully explained the quantum realm, they can say anything and it'll work, the excuse that it "depends on where you are" works, for me at least
No, this was all explained in End Game. Both Scott and Janet were in the Quantum Realm for 5 hours and 35 years, respectively. The important difference between their venture in that realm was their exit point. Janet's exit point into the "Normal Realm" was in 2018, whereas Scott's exit point was in 2023. This was the main time travel plot point in End Game, enter the Quantum Realm at a certain point in time and exiting the realm at a different point of time. The amount of time spent in the realm is relative to that individual. Even if Scott was to exit the realm and into the "Normal Realm" of the year 2099, he still would've just experienced 5 hours in the Quantum Realm.
Janet left the Quantum Realm at her "correct" exit window, which was 2018 of the "Normal Realm," 35 years after she entered the Quantum Realm. Scott missed his exit window, which was supposed to have 5 hours, but left the Quantum Realm and entered the "Normal Realm" in 2023 instead. Each of them experienced the amount of time that they were inside the Quantum Realm.
I always imagined all those poor ants being flung around and battered inside that mini building as Hank is rolling it across gravel like it’s a carry on and he’s late for his flight lol
I have been literally waiting for someone to reference Time Force Quantum Ranger in ant-man 3 videos and Ryan has done just that. And did it at the right time too. Very well played mate👌👍😅
To be specific Silvy killing he who remain isn't what created the multiverse. Nathaniel mentioned that they've passed the point of convergence which is where his knowledge stopped. It was already planned
Thanks for making this video, really. Even for someone like me who has been following all the MCU shows (even She Hulk unfortunately), this is a good refresher. Also, this video is very well made, super clear and concise. Kudos brother 👍🏻
I don't know why everyone thinks there was NO multiverse before Sylvie killed HWR. The multiverse was never destroyed; HWR only sought to have HIS "sacred timeline" free from any other Kang. He destroyed the timelines that branched off to letting a variant of Kang come into existence.
Thank you! I almost don’t feel like I need to watch Loki now. I just find it sad in Phase 4 they didn’t focus on building up Kang, and left his backstory to a show people may or may not have watched.
Thank you so much for the recap. I'm new to this Marvel thing and was overwhelmed by the multiverse but your explanation really helps. Now I'm ready for Quantumania! ^^
This is literally soo perfect, I have seen everything when they were released but i forget details due to a lot of content. At first I thought this might be boring but u kept the humor and the hidden jokes were the bestttt 😂😂
Fun fact, when Monica Rambeau travels thru the Hex in WandaVision she also phases thru the QRealm /chaos dimension - then obtains her Photon /cpt Marvel powers
I hope in some way 1. Loki reveals Kang is coming like hulk told the avengers about Thanos. 2 I hope loki "redeems" himself and gets more time with thor.
This was really useful. I like to have a recap before any new movie now. The amount of them along with shows is really adding up! It’s hard to remember everything so cheers! 👍
13:41 it depends on how you time travel since some time travel methods can actually change the past and thus the present and the future while some create alternative timelines and even do both while some don't do anything so it's diverse
the arrow hawkeye uses in his show has a pym tech logo on it, but hank pym would still not be in charge of the company... maybe pym tech fully figured out hanks formula?
This was incredibly well done and the added segments of simplifying it helped a ton. I sent this to my fiancée because she never got to see Ant-Man and Loki, but watched it as well for a refresher. About to see Quantumania in a couple hours! Thank you for putting this together!
This is still ALL Peter Quills fault. punching thanos-causing avengers to make time travel-causing 2012 Loki to escape-causing TVA to pick him up- causing TVA to use Loki to hunt Loki- causing Loki to fall in love with himself- causing silvie to kill kang- causing the multiverse to open. All Quill
4:34 They were actually *lambs.* 5:58 I still wonder about this loose end. 10:37 Not only is that an accurate description, but the following montage is quite hilarious.
I think he only used "QR" a few times, btu said Quantum Realm several more times. the time and syllables they tried to save by shortening and explaining it was ultimately wasted.
A suggestion: please don't put so much trailer stuff in a recap video, I don't want to get "spoiled" that much and just remember the past happenings. Thanks 😊
Brilliant vid & brilliant explanation! Like I might need to watch it a couple of times & im glad I’ve seen the Loki series. So going to see quantumania tomorrow so excited 😆 ❤
Watching this as my friend who I have a crush on has asked me along to see this movie with him despite not have seen the last 2 Ant-Man films 😂 thanks for the recap!
I rewatched everything in the description but Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home. Understand they play into the Multiverse but since Scott and the other main characters and Kang aren't in them didn't do it.
@@Collect2Disconnect I can understand Multiverse of Madness even though I liked it but No Way Home is definitely not anywhere near being in the worst category.
This is what I'm saying Ant-Man was in quantum run for 5 years and now he's in there again. He should have got powers to change size without the soup like in the comics
1:01 So, in other words when Scott go big his punches should be weak AF for his size. It also means that Scott Lang packs an incredible punch at human size and could smash an airport terminal by kicking it.
As a guy who missed out Loki series and Hawkeye series. I thank you for this RECAP

I missed the first two ant man movies I didn't think Loki was this much involved

I rewatched Loki this past week to refresh myself for Ant-man QM. I'm so excited for this movie. I love Paul Rudd.

An ant can survive a fall from 15 stories up, so they're pretty tough.
@@griffgames9538 they could survive any height
@@griffgames9538 true, doesn’t mean they enjoy being shaken up in a tiny confined space though…
The TVA must be in the quantum realm since Kang has now taken over it and Kang can't yet leave the quantum realm.
That’s true and his variant was there in Loki. I wonder are they going to show Kang and his other variants fight to create it all again.
Hopefully that means a Loki Cameo

This was remarkably well done. It’s great to see these (seen as) fringe characters get to play major roles in the main Marvel story arc.
Thanks ! This was exactly what I needed to prep for Quantumania !!
I remember reading they said that this will be as important to the Multiverse Saga as Civil War was for the Infinity Saga.
This meaning ant-man?
