very late grubby but wanna say i love how positive you are, you inspire me to also be this level of positive. thanks for exposing me to a different type of mindset
Grubbys team: He starts with one clown, that has to be jerax, the guy is meme'ing in TI finals, the quite genius Topson, literally doesnt speak even if he gets a solo tripple kill and two more teamplayers, so notail who is dragging waves from top of the map to bottom of the map so the carry gets an extra wave and then Ceb who literally plays and builds anything for his team, remember LC crimson guard rush. Grubby just wants to replace ana in TI8/9 OG, can't blame him. who wouldnt love that haha

I want to know how they got the documentary filmed. They didn’t know Ceb would be on the team until a week before the tournament. That is not a lot of prep time for the film team
That was an enjoyable watch along. I like your little commentaries and annecdotes about your pro career. Also i Believe the Documentary you mentioned you were is was from Zembla. And it sort of centered around you since you were/are probably the best known gamer (definitly at the time) who achieved international fame as a dutchmen. But the documentary itself was more about highlting Gaming as a proffessional sport and the toll it has on really young kids. Was a good watch this was like 10 years ago if not way more when i watched this.
Cannot stand most react content. It's just goofy faces and over the top screeching in most cases. But Grubby really layers in additional insight in each of these docs and truly adds to the experience. It's been so rewarding to see him bring his experiences and provide the additional context.
2 things i want to add that don't come across that well in the video: 1) taiga did some really heavy lifting this tournament. ceb played more of a 4 than a 5, so taiga stepped up and basically played 4 + 5 together, on heroes like enigma that are often even played as pos 3 cause they want that much farm. 2) ammar not only was the youngest player of the team, he also spent way less time together with them in person before, as he could only be attached to his brother's visa (jordanian visae are not that easy). yet he took the main part of the drafting on his shoulders, played incredibly ingame and even had the guts to be a guest panelist with ceb. he likes talking smack to other teams but he also embraced when they meme'd on him in reverse (ATM).
10:38 You can become an Analyst, a Coach, build your own Org helping develop new players and guiding them so they don't make the same mistakes you did, become a TO or even a Commentator... all of this while still playing in a semi-pro + for fun team. Or you can just check-out of e-sports and try to find that same competitive drive in other areas. It might not be easy to do, but what also isn't easy to do is to become a World Champion at almost anything.
@@spaceriot23 Ana and Topson weren't old that time. they were quite young yet they weren't condemning of others' blunders. Ana in 2018 was 19 years old while topson was 20 years old

You absolutelly should watch true sight for OG TI. Same happenned to me. I did not know muhc about the game but watching it again once i knew felt so much better
This documentary feels so cold compared to the previous one, maybe because of Ammar. N0tail must feel so weird only being an observer, not jumping in the game himself.
i still do not understand why notail played the coach role… he was littery a pos5 player. He could join to the roster… Ceb was always a pos3 player, this major was really uncomfortable for him. He didnt know his future teammates, he never played with them on pubs. Meanwhile notail know all of them. This whole thing does not make any sense.

Since the early days of Dota 1, competing in Europe against Puppey, Kuroky, Maelk, ArtStyle, Dendi, Synderen and Lacoste!... and failing with AAA and Virus!😁... against some of the best Dota players ever!... Just to turn it all around, win 2 TI's and grow as a person! How can you not love this guy or at least his attitude?! I would be already be searching for lube 🤣🤣🤣

It's strange hearing a man say "we are very different" about his girlfriend. Men and women are different on most things, yes.. Women shy away from conflict, men not so much. Men dedicate time to sports and excellence, women not so much (biological clock and all).
