I’m using Reaper becouse of you! For me it’s like you have online teacher everytime then you’re stuck! Thank you very much! You’re job is inspiration for thousands people, who loves creation!
Thanks, helpful! In each of these examples you re-record the MIDI part, but let's say you were already happy with a MIDI recording (as you mentioned you were at the 2:58 mark). How could you record MIDI FX to that existing MIDI item? Similarly, if you have a track with a MIDI item routed to a track with MIDI effects on the input, the effects are not applied. How can you route so that the MIDI FX can be recorded on the receiving track?
As a multi decade guitar player, I am now coming out as a closet keyboard finger poker player. This hack workaround allows meh midi keyboards bang to life. Thanks ah-gan Kenny for the fun.
This is great, but it only works with reaper's arpeggiator? I tried applying the same set-up with arturia pigments but the midi notes do not get recorded...
It's not a time selection. If you unlink the time selection from your loop points, you can create loop points without the time selection. Hope that helps.
man 4 months in and I'm still liking you more and more.
Are you trying to make this world a better place?
Hope you are being payed enough.

Are you using input quantization, or playing the input from another track? It's too perfect... 🙂
I'm just that good. LOL - No. I recorded these parts in advance and they're on another track sending to this one.
Excellent 🙌🙏

Is there a way to write probabilistic midi in Reaper?
region time selection is very Transparency
