I was a little hesitant about the music before the Album/Movie were released, but Brendon, that mf just doesn't miss, every song is a banger.
They are timeless too. Like I've gone through phases over 30 years of different genre of metal. Dethklok may just be the best metal that ever metaled.

I like slowly/heavy/brutal/darker song.
Many bands like Dark Tranquility, At the gates, or even Death, have an "ballad" on the last track on their album..

Brendon Small has NEVER disappointed me in his genius of story/music writing, definitely one of my absolute favorite Dethklok songs ever made!

Almost a full year later I realize that while Skwisgaar speaking through his guitar was perfection in the moment, he's constantly twiddling so many random bullshit unplugged solos whenever he's even slightly bored that there was no reason for Toki to find this particular one at all special
The reason why is because it’s a slow melody he keeps repeating over and over again. He usually does the twiddling around doodladeedladoodladeedla
That reason is exactly why Toki found it strange what he was playing

So, my current theory is that nathan is a halfman like selacia, but where he grasps power and pulls it in nathan directs it out, forming a feedback loop that empowers everyone it touches.
Eventually he and the band reach apotheosis into true gods, becoming beings they accidentaly prophesised.
Nathan takes the place of the old water god, becoming the murmaider.
Toki takes to the skies, watching over (and feeding upon) his boloved small animals as the Skyhunter.
Squisgaard roams the land spreading his seed as the Thunderhorse
Murderface becomes Deadface, lord of death, the great equaliser and get out of jail free card.
The only one im stuck on is pickles, his hedonism is all internal focused and he has a extreme aptitude with technology but i cant focus on a single track with this one..
