Amazing. When I was a teenager back then I wanted to be in this band so bad. I really miss SOB a lot. I learned so much from him. Rest in peace big brother. Thanks so much for sharing this Drew!
I think that's actually the brother of the guy from Crown of Thornz who got in the fight during the filming of the 1995 NYHC documentary (the brother got into it with someone in the pit and they almost stopped the show)
Thanks for this. Coming in to see shows from PA, I think I only saw Merauder twice around this timeframe (once New Year's at L'Amour w/ Biohazard, the other with Leeway & Warzone at Limelight). They were great. I remember thinking Minus was one of the wildest front men in the scene. He came across as real before "keepin' it real" was a scene catch phrase. I only wish the sound was cleaner. But, looks like VHS limitations. Great camera work for a single camera limitation. I like this style better than the camera switching every few seconds anyway.
Ive been recently watching videos n listening to the merauder demos w minus and now you upload this jaja crazy.. awesome footage and awesone channel. Respect 🇲🇽
This is tight. My best friend is Puerto Rican and we grew up going to hardcore shows. Cool to see the representation of different people in the hardcore scene. Plus, Merauder with Minus (or Jorge!) is always so dope.
I was good friends with SOB back in the day I meet him one day at the pizzeria on 8th street before his life as a skinhead I told him if he was going to hang out in the Village just to be cool we talked a lot he was a great guy . Saw them a few times Was friends with the band.

Not sure why he’s everyone’s favorite pit dancer. He seemed like a voice of reason here but years later sucker punched a buddy of mine who stepped in between an FSU guy that had his fist raised to a girl.
Minus was the real deal..merauder was never the same without him. Then the loss of SOB. Some of that master killer stuff was decent. But way too metal like. This was the true Hardcore. , RIP SOB miss ya brother.

Minus equally devastating on stage and in the pit. Sob R.I.P., man.
