Merauder has what it takes to boil my eggs. I really like their music, the lyrics, the sound and the groove. Quite excellent stuff. They're pushing 99%.
Slayer influence strong there in guitar play, beautiful. In my opinion Merauder invented metalcore, or were first famous band who did play it. When they dropped Master killer in 95, no one was playing like this
Merauder had most of these songs demoed in 91/92 they had demos out with a different vocalist. Also there was Integrity who were also one of the biggest influences in Metalcore 100% and had shit out under the name Die Hard in the 80s I have the 7" and 12" so I'd problay give it to them man
Oh dude if you haven’t yet, 100 Demons is right in the same wheelhouse as this, came from the same scene as Hatebreed in the late 90s. First record with Bruce is an all time classic, but I’d guess you’d love the second record with Pete. More metal, tons of shred, had some commercial success. Legit scary band. On Forsaken, check out Ne Desit Virtus, on the Self Titled you could probably put on any track, but Repeat process was the big Headbangers Ball “radio” single. The intro track to the album is an INSANE kick off, and at the end they re-record Ne Desit Virtus and it sounds gigaaaaantic. Id put it right next to Master Killer as all time hard records.
I heard this fir the first time about a month ago and instantly bought the record. Not sure how this passed me by. I have the album on repeat at work (mailman, so I'm not bugging my co-workers). Can't get this song out of my head and I'm fine with that
Subscribed you're one of the best reviewers. From Narrow Head to Mearuder I love it !!!! Please review Brawler Hard Truths EP if you're looking for more modern Heavy hardcore !!!!
Merauder are such an iconic band in hardcore and Master Killer is such a "killer" album. I'm with Urban Instinkt on this, Master Killer is up there in my top 5 albums.. All of the bands that you listed off that are comparable to Merauder are solid, Wisdom in Chains is my favorite of all.
@@ShaneDiablo that’s the first thing I thought of when I never heard of them. Guess they were a big deal from all the RUclips videos . I like them better than Bio-Hazard from what I heard. Not really familiar w Madball.
Madball was First, they've been around sind the Singer was Like 12 in 89, because the step Brother of the madball Frontman is the Singer of Agnostic Front.

Interesting for me. Peter/NoComply appreciate you sharing the request brother. Not my style (With Paul O on that one), but I can respect these dudes rock out hard.
Yeah 25 ta life played with some big bands in late 90s before Rick ta life went completely loco..and you're right, ringworm is great great great shit. You should do one of their songs. So many to choose from, off top of my head id say acquiesce and first track off the scars album, can't remember the fuckin name.. word
"hardcore" never went anywhere.... Really it was a thing for skateparks back in the early 90's with dummies who thought that strumming power chords and 3 chords songs would amount to anything. Yeah well where are those bands and ppl today... Oh yeah.. Henry Rollins is still around.. But he wrote books and evolved from this nonsense.
Not my style. Yeah reminds me of Biohazard and that NY stuff. One of the times I saw Suicidal Tendencies, Biohazard opened and everyone looked bored. People started slamming when they covered Bad Religion's "We're Only Gonna Die". Anyway, to each their own.
ay that was me 😂 thanks for doing the request man! 🤙🏻
Peter! thank you my friend!
Awesome Brooklyn band. Good dudes. RIP Sob.
This album is one of the top 5 best hardcore albums of all time 💪🤘

Take by Force is my favorite from this record but the whole thing is great
