- Grab a snack and join me and Billy Go as we have a chat over some 부대찌개 ("army base stew") for lunch! During Billy's stay in Korea, I invited him over to my apartment where we talked about a bunch of different things, from best Korean fried chicken to best learning method. :D

Thanks again so much for having me over and I hope we can hang out again soon~!
5:55 thank you for introducing me to Isaac Toast and the 영국남자/Jolly youtube channel. I have been binge watching their videos and pausing and rewinding a lot to read the Korean and English subtitles and learning a lot of new words!
These questions are really, really good-not just about food and learning Korean, but also a little bit about mixing and adapting to cultures! It's delightful seeing some of my favorite creators getting together and hanging out; thanks to both of you for years of quality videos!
Yes! I love Billy 😀😀 I'm glad you guys finally meet in person.
My two favorites teaming up!
Legend has it that Saem is still pulling up noodles from the pot to this day
Lol. That was NOT one pack of noodles, no way! XD
Couldn’t finish everything in the end! 🤣
Wow! I love both of you guys, I never expected to see this collab! Thank you so much to both of you for helping me on my Korean learning journey. :)
Omg... 부대찌개[budaejjagae/army soup] is one of my favorite food!!! This video makes me hungry.
너무 재미있게 봤어요!!! I laughed so much! “It’s getting bloated” ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ LOVE IT 😂 I ALSO LOVE RUNNING MAN!!!
Unexpected collab! Thank for this saem 💙
Wow, so happy for this collab!
This video was so fun and interesting!! Thank you so much for collaborating 😄

ㅋㅋㅋ 촬영 잘 하세요 쌤😊 기대할게요!
I really like Billy but I just want to know how many of those shirts and hats does he own because for the last eight years in his videos he’s always wears that hat and that shirt. Love it
I only know that it’s several 😂
I've followed Billy's channel for a while, so I was thrilled you did a collab with him. Also, I didn't know you were actually in Korea! Your English is so good that I thought you live in the US. This was a very nice conversation, and I'm glad the small Korean teaching community is getting closer. You guys are awesome, and are making possible to learn Korean a bit more easier these days.
Adding to the recommendations for Korean listening content, almost all kpop groups have behind the scenes material which is also subtitled (both English and Korean) and they also come"annotated" with those type of emotions/descriptions you were talking about. Not that I can follow them yet, but the content is there, lol.
Replying to my comment, because I can't edit it:
The problem I see with variety shows is that I think those probably would work best for intermediate-advanced learners who may have a solid foundation and understanding of the language and won't be thrown out by the slang and constant grammar twisting. Beginners will get frustrated by the speakers don't following strictly the "rules".
Thanks for your comment! I agree, for beginners understand the basic sentence structures are more important before moving on to “real life” listening where there are so many exceptions and variations!
make a video about korean medical term !!!! i mean either western medical term and traditional korean medical term in korean !!!. kamsahamnida
치킨 has exploded in popularity here in the DC metro area. It's probably the only distinctly Korean food that's cheap and as easy to access as it is in Korea, like you said it's so hard to get casual Korean food even in Koreatowns - I can just order chicken from one of a bunch of different places (Pelicana, bbq, Choong Man, Chi Mc) and it shows up and it's no more expensive than it should be.
I know a place I can get cheap 중식 tucked away in an industrial area. It's almost like a 기사식당 except in this case the clientele are mostly auto mechanics and contractors. :) It's the one place I actually get to use my Korean because the woman who takes my order on the phone just goes full speed ahead so I roll with it. Finding something like that is a rare gem though.
Hi I just saw the video of you and Billy on his channel. So here I am. Which part of the states did you live in .... West coast or East coast. I know some of the Korean communities on the East coast. Many great places to connect with the Korean people here in the states. Lots of good Korean restaurants and of course I can't leave out Hmart. Billy is really getting around with other Korean RUclips channels.... Which I think is so cool. I've been enjoying the collaborations with each any everyone.
I lived in New York and have never been to the west coast 🥲 and Hmart was a huge presence for me growing up! Back then it was called Hanareum 😄
@@YourKoreanSaem Awesome. You have to come back and visit.
as a people who learn chinese first then japanese then korean i always wanted to know what is that korean word in 漢字, not because i love Kanji/한자, but because to make me more understand the word
Hi 쌤! I have a question! there’s the program called 그것이 알고싶다, I was wondering why it’s not 그것을 알고싶다? What usage of 이/가 makes it possible to use like that?
It’s for emphasis on 그것, like THAT’s what I want to know.
I didn't know that Billy is married to a Korean untill today
which is right ? 몇일 or 며칠?
며칠. "몇 월" Juga jadi 며덜.
Maybe you’ve said before but where did you live before Korea?
New York!
