Its so ironic that a Russian and a Indian was chosen for the group because both the countries are so good friends geopolitically. You can see both these girls have a very compatible friendship with each other. These are talented girls with natural beauty and humble heart's. Danny, South Africa.
They are both so well-spoken and are wonderful ambassadors for their group. They spoke openly and genuinely which is so nice to see. And I can’t imagine how difficult their training period must have been to debut in such a short time, being so far from home & not knowing the language in addition to what other trainees go through. They are very sweet but are also clearly very dedicated & hardworking. Very impressive.
As an indian I can say Gangnam style is very very very popular song in india.Marriage, birthday party and festivals in india is incomplete without the song gangnam style and that dance step of gangnam style that jumping and move your hands is popular, everyone does in marriage

27:00 it sounds like a big reason fans say they're comfortable too is from the company and how it conducts itself. The company sounds like its more relaxed even in the way they're not censoring these ladies and letting them be more raw in this podcast for example. We all know most companies have their idols give very "approved" responses and are kinda fake and literally can't be themselves without retribution from their company whereas these idols seem "real" which is a breath of fresh air in the idol/kpop industry but i think the industry is coming around to it because especially more global fans want "real" people to connect with not robotic dolls in a lot of sense. edited to add: oh i made it to 44:00 and they brought it up too!
absolutely agree! . when you havnt started the podcast but you already know the answers to all the questions coz most of the time it boils down to the boring to death word cliche youv heard b4 zillion times... so yeah.. hopefully they gonna keep this up
A lot of it has to do with Korean culture itself. Individuality is not particularly encouraged, so there is reticence to put oneself out front with sharp opinions.
In India everything is family oriented. Be it friendships, marriage anything. Son/ daughter 's friends become family to parents. Also we say marriage is between families rather than individuals.
SO neat to see this. SO impressed that you got such amazing guests -- I will have to now go and stan for X:IN and of course for KATSEYE -- can you try to interview them -- that would be SO AMAZING. Yes, they are also international but it would be interesting to hear from KATSEYE since they are SO new and several of their members are from the US. I have no doubt you can secure an interview with them, David. Brilliant job on this one, just brilliant... (oh, don't be disappointed -- still always an ARMY first, that is for life...)
And so many ppl think they are talentless 😂😂while they basically learn everything like 6 to 10 months as being foreigner and debut like other korean idols or much more earlier.
