In the 1960s, LORD ROBERTS underwent a complete restoration at the engineering works of W. H. OLDMAN in New Road, St Ives.
This video records a summer afternoon visit to the town centre and Market Hill, located close to the former Oldman works.
There are encounters with the Golden Lion Hotel, St Ives Free Church, Oliver Cromwell's statue and the people of St Ives.
