Rebelle Fleur Yes. I’ve always gotten more tingles from unintentional asmr, like when the tapping and crinkling was done not for the purpose of asmr. Don’t know why, but a lot of times it’s like the actual asmr videos are trying too hard and are too “forced” with the sounds..of that makes sense.

If you made them a bit more saturated with colour, and maybe added some sparkles, they'd make great diving toys for kids. I had a chest of diving toys as a child, and they had plastic gems that size in it that we would throw in the water and then dive down to find. It was so much fun, and we often argued over who got to dive for the favourite gems :)
It's so satisfying when you take them out of the molds 😂😂

Maria I really enjoyed this video! And I know you don’t like the bubbles, but I think it gives them really interesting character. And I love the idea to turn them into knobs- they sell ones just like that at Anthropologie-I would totally do that! Thanks for sharing-I might give this a whirl-seems very relaxing! :)
Carissa I agree. Also the blue & green tone ones with bubbles remind me of tiny pockets of crystalized ocean (like aerial ocean photography.)

Ooh, I like this! Since I have ADHD and have tried way too many hobbies, I actually have most of the stuff to do this again. I used to put little pictures in mine and make them into jewelry :)
Masha, you know what you could do? IF you have old CD-s, cut them up and arrange them like mozaics in the big silicone molds and pour resin on them. They would create mozaic coasters then and you could do a set. This way you reuse the CD-s that are not in use anymore and they make awesome mozaics!

I always liked resin jewelry like preserved flowers and plants and stuff. these look fun too I might want to make my own coasters too sometime! pretty mesmerizing. I think the one with the jellyfish, moss, and wispy blue bits is my favorite!

I could see the small ones look like small mountains. Made me think of fairy house decoration or terrarium additions. Even with bubbles they are so pretty. The right lighting and voila! Fascinating to see how you created them. TFS 💕🦉🇦🇺

you should do a layered resin painting, where you add a thin layer of resin let it dry paint on it add another layer paint on it..etc its a long process but ends up looking so amazing

love the idea of using the candy form ones for knobs. So creative!
Maria, you could use those gems for an ASMR video in which you are a traveling jeweler/merchant in a fantasy world. You could make up stories on how you came across the gem stones or how you mined them. (Some of them remind me of stones found in the ocean, like in a mermaid's cove!) And you could show off the details of the stones and tap on them, etc. You could also pair them with your other art as you would be a travelling merchant and you trade lots of items and such. Just an idea, it might be fun! :)

I used to make things with resin a few years ago too. I loved it. It is an expensive hobby to get into though! I also didnt have a garage! So I made them either sat on the floor of the kitchen or the dining room table. Both now have traces of resin stuck them!

The way you added ink to the last two petris reminded me of the times I would start painting/ molding with a clear mind and see what the work wanted to be. It is a lot of fun, but I always hated that I could never make the same thing twice.

Did you ever think about selling some of your art? To help pay for your supplies and such. I think lots of people would be interested in them. Th are beautiful. What do the gems sound like if you were to place them in a bowl? Seems like they would make a pleasant sound clicking together.

I used to have a little set as a kid like this and I made badges and rings by setting the metal into the resin before they dried. The little ones also remind me of little glass marbles 😍

Maria you should put magnets on the back of the little gem shaped ones and sell them in sets on Etsy! You’d make a fortune. You could add glitter to some as well!
The larger ones would be great as soap dishes, you could buy or make some soap and wrap them all in cellophane for gifts, the smaller ones would look lovely glued to a mirror as decoration :)
