Excellent video, thankyou! :-D I wish Q2 and Q3 were positive questions though.... EG: What new solutions can be used instead of Growth? What can I do?
Charity is not the answer!...It will never be. We need conscious leaders who can understand, really understand, the problem in this world....and societies must be responsible and have a real compromise to cooperate. No other way.
Switzerland got rid of poverty everyone is graduated a living wage even welfare people. And there thriving. Also most house's have gardens for fresh vegetables either in the front lawn or back. Where as that is rare in the West. The only way to get rid of poverty is to pay a living wage to everyone regardless of what they do. A living wage is the basic income one needs for all basic thing's like rent, food, bills and a little spending money. I live on 1600 CND a month and pay all my bills on time and even able to save every pay check. Because i live below my income and make sure my bills are only 60% of my total income. Living within your means and not over extending yourself with debt fights poverty the best. I have all the basic things food, shelter, car, money to spend and to save every month. So technically I"m not in poverty even though my income is only 1600 a month after tax. Would i like more money well yes everyone dose. Do i think its hard living on 1600. Not really it just means you have to balance your money better and learn to stay within your means. It may take you longer to get something but you can still get it. For instance i want a new sectional couch instead of using the Bricks financing I"M putting extra money into my savings. And once i have enough I'll buy it with cash. This means i have no interest no payments no worries. It just means i don't get it now but i can get it later. But something like a house or car you can't really save enough for on my income. So i would never have a nice car or own my own house. I simply don't make enough to even pay monthly payments on them. But i have a nice 1 bedroom apartment 720 sq feet only 600 CND. I have a 1998 caviler paid for in cash. It works just fine gets me from A to B. Its about accepting what you can afford and seeing reality of it.
Everybody's living wage is very different, especially on an individual basis, especially given their different lifestyles, so it might not be one size fits all.
Good Luck for your campaign. Well, and what about subtitles in different languages? You know, when "they" say that "everybody in the world can speak english (or even 50% of people in the world speak english...) THEY lie ! Actually, only the wealthier people can use english well enough to have an effective politic action. Most of those, who were taught english never succeed to use it, or only for very simple needs. Probably less of 10% can use it as a usefull tool (perhaps a little more in "richest" countries)

Fabricio Fercher Yeah because letting technocrats run things has never worked out poorly. How can you guys complain about the rich, and then want to give them more power over you? Just ask yourself if you want Zuckerberg or Bezos writing laws for you and you'll see why politics is necessary.
If in spite of it all politics never really died out to begin with. Instead it simply found a new way to adapt finding a new niche in today's high-tech era; keeping technocratic ambitions at bay. This is entirely because humans have always had a tendency to adapt and overcome in response to an ever-changing world.

Thank you. This is great. Agree! I will use it in class with my Political Sociology 2nd year sociology students at the UNiversity of Bath
How is poverty created?
Why is growth the only answer?
Who's developing who?
I wish I heard something about curbing population growth, but I like what else I heard.
good questions to be asking.

what lol
hope this works lol
People are poor because they are slaves to their impulses. If you're not then you're not poor or at the minimum don't consider yourself that.
