Not only was that chun description insanely accuarete, It's even funnier when you compare it with third strike chuns, they are the living embodiment of a nuclear bomb ready to go off the moment they land the most minuscule interaction
Thx for the series Sajam. Finally got Master with Manon and the way you analyse and deal with different playstyles really helped (Honda's videos don't count...). Now I'm getting smoked by Master Players. I guess the real grind starts now
I can't believe they saw what Honda did during SFV and thought to themselves "What if he could keep doing the same thing over and over, but get more damage while being more safe"
The difference between Blanka and Honda is like the difference between Lex Luthor and Jeff Bezos. They're both evil but one is way more entertaining about it
The being super fat on his stomach but also being super cut thing is the most mutant visual design in the whole series. He's got rock hard jiggle physics.
My favorite part of my very short fighting game career was getting ragequit on in my placement matches after landing Manon CA that would've killed. Got placed in Iron 4, Now in Gold 1
dunno what's worse, the fact people can climb playing like this, or the fact this character will be like this until after Capcom Cup. Even then, they still might not change him.
It makes me feel better that someone as good as sajam can fuck up butt slam coming out wrong from time to time. Cause sometimes i miss it and im like....im the worse player in the world.
Players fighting at that level (and even way before) can already perfect parry most randomly thrown headbutts and buttslams. Opponents that cant deal with it seem like the one-and-done type of ranked player. The only exception is if both players are playing Honda, in which case, MMR is a lie and both players revert to basic instincts of who can out-*butt the other
I wish I got matched with people who can't handle headbutt. I indeed get PP'd, DI'd and back jumped all the time in D3. Seriously, what is up with Sajam's opponents here? They just keep burning themselves out and not adapting to Headbutt/buttslam, even though he just uses heavy all the time. I don't get it. My opponents aren't this bad and they're usually d1-3.
And before everyone tells me to git gud: One thing I always do is the target combo into hands which leaves too many gaps for them to punish me. Sajam doesn't use it at all. I should try to avoid that too.
A better player always makes their opponents look worse than they are. Sorry, but it literally is a skill issue. Whatever you are doing is easier for the opponent to deal with than Sajam's offense. It's hilarious because Sajam has called out people saying this in almost every climb to Master he's done when an [insert character he's playing] main goes "OMG HOW COME THE PEOPLE IN DIAMOND I PLAY DON'T GET HIT BY ALL THIS STUFF, YOU GET SUCH BAD PLAYERS"
@@MegaDeoxtarget combos into hands is -4 if light, which some characters can punish with far reaching 4 frames, and -8 if medium/heavy which everyone can punish pretty much, instead cancel the target combo into medium headbutt
Finally! An honest, fundamentals focused, character.
Shoutouts to the Ken who took every fiber of his being not to one n' done on the Honda. I'm so proud of him.

I think throughout the whole honda climb sajam only used the hands buff properly like once.
literally no need to even use it apparently.
Buttslamming is a legitimate playstyle and nobody can tell me otherwise.

Big improvements!
Well honda was bad in V so they had to change him somehow.
You're a bad man for this entire Honda run
Keep up the good work chief
i think it took longer than usual to reach master with honda simply because people keep one and done-ing
Why I stopped playing blanka
Also he did that whole blind fold thing
Henry headbutt getting the double perfect against Daniel doisokoi is crazy

At least blanka has some sauce. Honda is just gross

Thank you for adding a chapter for the Boots sighting, it pleases me deeply AND NOW BACK TO THE BEEF
riveting honda gameplay! when will i hear "DOSUKOI!"???

you hit him with the "la la la la la-la-la"
Him vs zackbozz feels like what a lot of honda matches break down into. It almost makes you question what game you're actually playing.
And to think about the perception of this character. What would it be with a some frame data and spacing tweaks?
This was a fantastic road to master, it truly helped us honda players beat the allegations a little bit
Nice to see Sam having fun after watching him suffer with Gief

5:28 idk why but this interaction made me burst out laughing
I was expecting Butters Buttslam but that works too

Who wins the wrestling match sajam or zangief?
I played against a 90k LP / 1700 MR Honda yesterday. I thought he'd do something other than spam headbutts and butt slams. Nope.
So you washed him easily, right?
