Fantastic, every single bike was special, thanks for the tour :)
Thanks RJ, glad you liked it :)
I am a Husky fan and love this video. My garage has a 73' 450 Desert Master, a 74" 250 Mag, and a 83" 390CR. I could watch this stuff all day but
Bengt Aberg was one of my 1st MX heroes. Those were some rough riding bikes they had to manhandle around the track back in the old days!
Gotta love those sideburns lol yep they were pretty though guys back then!
As a Bultaco rider back in the 70s I appreciated the Husqvarna competition. I like that you are playing "On Any Sunday" in that museum. Giod stuff.
Love the bikes and the factory. Great series.
Thanks bro, i´m glad you like it :)
Some fantastic bikes again, I love the old twin shock enduro bikes! Top marks for them showing 'On Any Sunday', a fantastic film. I've lost count of how many times I've watched that. If you haven't seen it, its well worth it - the Elsinore and Desert Racing sequences are magic.
I haven't seen it, must be on DVD somewhere, i´ll will try to get it!
I have an MP4 file of it somewhere. if you PM me a shared drive, I'll drop you a copy although you might find a full version here on YT!
pgod1960 Thanks, yes i did find a full version here Sunday not the best quality but still ok :)
Great tour! I have always loved the Huskies!!
Thanks! yes me too :)
Absolutely amazing your my friend, thanks you so much for taking us along!! Loved seeing all those old v twin huskys.... Didn't know the they used to be into road racing? I wonder why they don't do it anymore....
Thanks bro, most people don’t know that Husky competed in road racing long before they started making dirt bikes, one reason they stopped was when Electrolux 1978 bought Husqvarna, they weren't interested in motorcycles.
Ah... I imagine that's when a lot of their heavy equipment stuff came out
I bet your jaw dropped and hit the floor when you looked and seen some of this History here my friend...Thanks for sharing...I really enjoyed this part as always...Lots of Trophy's...Have you ever been involved in racing in your life?
I knew about most of their history but seeing all those fantastic bikes was awesome... no never has and too late now :)
Some beautiful bikes Sir, thanks for the tour of the museum
Cheers, glad you liked it!
Wow, what a great place! If I had to choose a bike I could keep, it would take days, because I liked all of them.
I´ll take one of the old v-twin road racing bikes, first choice for me :)
+Samcro10 i would take the silverpilen , or a cr500 or a 60s 2 stroke
I remember quite a few of those MX bikes bro!! Been looking fwd to this video!!
Thanks bro, one more to come :)
Great tour Samcro, my favourite are the MX/Enduro.
Just read about the logo.
The symbol being the Husqvarna logo is referring to our gunsmithing history. To the right you see the oldest form as the hallmark of a passed musket, symbolizing the sight over the barrel. You see also the modern version indicating that Husqvarna is still keeping the future in sight.
Thanks irish!
Pure history.
Cheers!
Very interesting!! I really enjoyed watching this!
