I love riding my RS1 on back country roads but I rarely get to do it. It is so cool that you have driven that distance on the road with your machine. It would be cool to see how long all the components lasted driving on the road with proper maintainance.
Love the video! Going to do that vacuum tube mod! Still can't believe you don't have that many subs! You have so much know how and you do so many rides and events with your family! One of these days I'm going to have to go to the actual red river trails and follow along 🤙

Lovely roll cage. How's that red button wired ? just a normally open connection across the toggle switch ? good idea. I did the same gear reduction. Does it turn slower with those wider tires on ?.
The button is wired to a relay. The relay then runs the power through the dash switch and when energized it send power to a second suspension switch permanently set on firm. Then when i press the button the power just transfers from the dash switch to the second switch behind the dash set on firm. Pretty simple setup but the switches aren’t cheap thats for sure. Works awesome though.
Sweet ride working on getting mine street legal I was worried how long mine would last once I am able to start riding on the streets for long periods was gonna some times drive to work that is round trip 60 miles

Are you done driving it on the road since it got impounded? Been driving my RS1 on the street since my city/county legalized them. Have you ever had issues stemming from the locked rear end? The binding in corners makes me feel like it’s gotta be adding extra stress.
The only reason it makes all that noise is due to the locked up rear. Just the inside tires turning faster than the outside. It’s nothing to worry about. Might want to make sure your air pressure is adequate for the road too. More psi makes it easier to turn and less “hoppy” around corners.
@@A1UTV one for question for ya, do you just deal with how Loud they are I’ve taking periods of time? I was getting tinnitus driving mine every day, installed a rear shield which helped a little hut generally ear protection now which kills the point of the stereo.
Man that’s awesome 11k miles question I used dirt legal and I believe you did to what’s the rules with riding on the interstate with these machines not sure what yours is classified as but mine is now classified as a Quadra cycle you said you drove to Canada I’m sure they all couldn’t have been county roads I was worried bout getting mine on the Interstate for long periods I’ve only done it shorts burst for small distances
I did the registration myself. It’s super cheap. I used South Dakota. Dirt legal uses the Sam method. When it comes to the interstate i tend to stay off of them mostly due to the amount of traffic. I drove to the Canadian border. I did make a trip from Fort Worth to Houston and back all on the interstate and my machine ran 80mph the entire time no problem in 102* summer
@@A1UTV I was just curious if we was able to drive the interstate legal or if it’s against the law I’ve heard so many people who don’t know what the hell they are talking about say so much nonsense I was thinking we could since our machine has been reclassified but I don’t know and can’t get reliable information
@@whiterhinooutdoors4572 it really depends on the officer and the state. Some states will honor the reciprocity while others will contest it. I also got a $100 ticket for being on a state hwy in Oklahoma which they see it as an ohv because they offer a registration. I probably would’ve got away with that one had i not argued with he cop. @ or should I just wait for a better deal or spend a little more money and get something else? Sorry for all the questions thanks for answering new subscriber now
@ it all depends on your budget. The nice part of a new machine is you can get an extended warranty with it. This will alleviate a lot of headaches should you break anything. I used the crap out of my warranty on my turbo S. They replaced wheel bearings, differentials, clutches, turbo etc all over the 6 years i had the warranty. Even replaced axles that broke.
I made the reduction prior to the Minnesota and Vegas trips. The towing rzr video and the trip to the Omari’s and Houston was all done on stock gearing. I made the 12% in high and rev and 33% in low. I noticed it slightly when cruising as before the sweet spot was about 75mph but after it was closer to 65-68. I felt the trade off was worth it due to the fact i have a ton of control on the trails when crawling. I can even trail ride in high. 👍
The vacuum hose integration is one of the best hacks I have seen. I am doing this before summer for sure.
Works best when at speed for sure. Dunes/desert/street driving is where it really shines.
@@A1UTV I do a lot of desert and dune riding so I could see the benefit for sure.
I need details brother, tell me the routes you took to go from Texas to Canada. And Texas to Nevada. Very nice turban S buddy

Who made the front winch bumper and what winch are you using?
Emp and its a warn winch. 4500 iirc
What kinda fluids, filter, belt and bearings you running? Lol my turbo motor blew at 3500 miles
Oem fluids or rotella t6 5w40, oem belt and oem bearings. My oem belt lasted 4400 miles before i pulled it off the machine.
Really interested in those hood scoops you have on the roof! Who makes those?
They are seizmik windshield scoops
