Tip for those with dark windows dealing with cops. As soon as the lights flash and you pull over, immediately roll down all the windows, put your hands on the steering wheel and don't move.

During the first week of ownership of my 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed , premium and technology pkgs I installed a K&N cold air intake and a FlowMaster FlowFX turn down dual exhaust.
All of my friends who own TRDs and Limited Tacoma 4WD with the 3.5K V6 are getting 18 mpg combined and 20-22 mpg highway.
I’m getting 20 mpg combined and 23-24 mpg highway.
My mechanic told me that with changing the intake and exhaust, my Tacoma is pumping out 301 horsepower over the stock 278. Plus I’m getting better fuel mileage.
My last pickup was a 11 Ranger with the 4.0L V6 4WD XLT super cab.
Before changing the intake and exhaust I was getting 19 mpg on the highway with the cruise set on 75mph. After those two mods. I consistently got 24mpg.
They pay for themselves and your truck sounds better.
I raced a couple of Chevys with small blocks and that Ranger won both of them, not by much, but I did win. And yes it surprised me as well.
A couple of weeks ago I raced an old man (like myself). He was in a late model Silverado.
We were on the highway and had to stop for a red light.
He had been toying with me prior to the red light.
I was in the fast lane and he was in the slow lane. I looked over at him and he gave me the “Nod”. I slowly “Nodded” back. We both grinned.
I pushed the ECT button on my Tacoma. When the light turned green we both mashed our feet on the floor.
When my TRD up shifted from 4th to 5th, I was going 98mph and that’s when I started pulling away from the Silverado.
When ever you race, it really doesn’t matter who wins or looses, it’s about the thrill, but it is always nicer when you win.
Chevys have a governor that shuts them down at 105mph.
Since I was walking away from him at 98, when I hit 102mph, I let off the gas and gave him a Thumbs Up for the race.
So yeah, it does pay off to change out your stock intake and exhaust.
Make sure your exhaust is made with 409 or 304 stainless steel. 304 is the best, but 409 is a bit cheaper and Flowmaster will give you a lifetime warranty.
Have fun with your Tacoma !

Go LED headlight so you can battle the other LED headlights coming toward you on the road 👍 if I can’t see the road, no one can see the road

I’ve got 35% tint on all of the side windows and 5% on my windshield, 6” which is legal in Washington state.
I can go as low as 5% all around my truck and still be legal, but because of our weather here in the PNW, I personally think 35% is right for myself.

I have a 2018 trd off road DCLB cement color. Havent done anything with it yet except Falken wildpeak at3w. Love the tires for northwest rain and snow. So far i want to put in a decked bed drawer. Soft topper warn hidden bumper winch. Factory lift and bfg ko2 tires. I mainly go forest roads or logging roads. But would like to do some overlanding

    Nicely said brotha 🤙🏼
Rather spend money on performance and proper maintenance then useless racks and high end lift kits when 99% of overlanders only do it to flash on IG lol 😅
    Good video

I have 23 pro. Im considering taking off my predator steps. It seems like they get in the way a lot for me more than they help. What’s your opinion on yours? Thx
