Hi buddy just came across your channel your 251/9 looks fantastic I've got 2 afv club half tracks 251/C and the one with the pack gun I've also ordered 2 sets of metal tracks as same as you i don't like rubber band tracks. Have just subscribed to your channel. Cheers Gary 🇬🇧
Hi Gary, the AFV 251 is one of the rare times I used kit rubber band tracks and I had trouble with them. You made the right call in getting some better tracks. Thanks for the sub!
I recently built Dragons version of the 251/9 D and same annoying issue with gaps as with your build. I used thin strips of Evergreen plasticard and extra thin cement and some liquid filler and came out a treat . I've got a AFV 251/1 D to build and am dreading those gaps ugh. Excellent build and loved watching the video .
weathering looks good one thing I'd say about the base is to have the tracks come from the edge like it's driven on and nit planted on in a spot around long grass and a couple figures that's gonna look fantastic!
I tried to make it look like it had been sitting in place for a while with the rusty tracks, the rear doors open and the tarp thrown over the top. Maybe I should have scattered some gear around?
they do a set of single link tracks for the sdk 251 kit's separately there really worth it tbh! I've found the original Dragon kit of this kannonwagon as afv call it? it's got loads in the box as it's on the good originals with magic tracks etc butnim the same time as you into armour I started in 2018 I'm away to start the Big boy 12 Tonner SD.kfz DB 10 Gepanzerte it's a later bugger version as if the 251 weren't bug enough so bought the new Hobbyboss flak for it to tow as a heavy guns mover! I've heard loads of bad things about afv clubs 251 kit's I've got an ausf D in my stash but loads Dragon one's I prefer to build its just sat there for good couple year's now!
Dragon kits are always good even if we need a secret decoder ring to unscramble the instructions. I haven't purchased another AFV Club kit since and I have no plan to, it was not a good experience. I hate rubber band tracks. Haha
Very nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@SPSteve 👍😉

Looks superb! How about some crew?
i would like to share a picture of a model sd kHz 232 that i built, how can i do it
I don't think you can in a comment. Starting your own channel might be the best way to share your work.
By the way the name should be: Jose V Franco, Maria is my wife
