I have to agree with your statement, as the Triple R is more of a race bike and kicks the ass off every Japanese bike except for the H2. Then again the H2 is way too expensive and is not for riding around is for the track.
If you plan to do more commuting than track days, the RR is a more sensible choice. It is significantly less expensive, lighter, comfier, less physically demanding to ride, and has more than enough power you'll ever need for street riding. However, if your priority revolves around slicing those seconds or miliseconds off your lap times on the track and you don't mind the price, the RRR offers just what you need for that. It has stronger top-end power, sharper handling, and more sophisticated tech. a more extreme, powerful, and race-focused bike.
Same but I know the 23 I bought has the bigger bore stroke and throttle body, so I don't know if the horsepower is still 26 hp lower, really hard to find actual hp specs for the RR.
Nice enthusiastic comparison and explanations, thanks. $10,000 more, I could buy another motorcycle for that price. Definitely geared for diehard racers on the race tracks in competition.
such a stupid move from Honda to discontinue selling the budget liter bike in Europe but we got a highly overpriced bike that no one is gonna buy :D You can get race ready bikes much cheaper like Aprilia RSV4 or the ZX10R and with even more features like cruise control ... I hope its only because of the emissions and they will bring it back like they did with the CBR600RR
Lol, yeah, A.I. sound is getting more realistic these days. But still, a real human voice is far better. Although, for a small channel like mine that doesn't earn much money, AI voice makes producing content so much faster, cheaper, and easier. Maybe someday, if this channel becomes big and I can afford it (more time and money to spend on this channel), I'll use my real voice.😄
Honestly, if you are going to buy the race version of any bike, Honda cbr is the one to buy. The rrr has too much improvement over the base version. The difference is much bigger than the bmw, yamaha, and any other.
Only in the USA. In Europe the rr-r is the same bike as the rr-r sp but with some "downgrade". But it is exactly the same design, same engine etc. Only for the American market they continue to sell the old Fireblade rr
Honda CBR has always been known as superior sportbikes with the necessary compromise in the engine characteristics (well explained here), construction frame and riding position. The CBR 1000RR version prior to the still available 2023 model in the US was an even better road touring sportbike albeit maybe the slowest and heaviest. Further down in the engine capacity to the In-line Twin 250CC RR, the model is still widely regarded as maintaining Honda road-going sportbike DNA with a smooth and efficient engine, moderate horsepower with good torque at the mid to lower range and a compact lightweight steel frame. For those who wants even more comfortable ride with a sportbike look and handling Honda also has that covered with another In-line Twin CBR500R whose engine mechanics, rider position and overall design is currently probably the most fuel efficient, quietest, most subdued exhaust sound and most comfortable riding among all sportbikes from any makers from 250CC-300CC and up.
Im a huge Honda fan...but The New RR R have a lots of problems, a lots recals and gear box melting 😅 with gears cracks on track. Maybe the new 1000 2024 will add some fresh quality engine parts....until then I stick with Sp2 2018...
What Sportbike/Superbike would be the best option if it was to be swapped into a small lightweight car (Ideally under 2000lb vehicle weight hopefully closer to 1500lb vehicle weight) Ideally, I would prefer 200HP or higher, which is also 1000cc or smaller (I realize that this is an odd request as higher horsepower ratings probably requires more engine displacement). Does such a Sportbike/Superbike even exist? Thanks for any opinions and insights.
@FireBladeRR-RSP however, looking at your username, it could be that your bike has become your personality, and it seems as though you might have a touch of self-deception at play.
@@lovelessissimo still have many bikes I’ve accumulated over the years . Bought the 30th anniversary as a year late 50th bday present… my buddy has the 2021 RR. why the RRR isnt available in the US? And what happened to the brembo stylema calipers and the ohlins forks? and the matte pearl morion paint? are any of those still available as an option?
Uh what? It is available in the US, wdym? edit: ah I see the 2023 model hasn't been shown yet, but it looks just like the 2022 version, it'll probably be added to the lineup again down the line.

The Double R is WAY MORE comfortable as a daily rider. I used my Double R to go to work.

I can't see a realistic scenario where anyone needs a triple R over the rr.
Well I can tell I don’t race but have been riding for 33 years and that extra R was worth every penny…
