Keduanya punya keunggulan. Yang saya suka dari CBR power lebih gede, knalpot bawaan Akrapovic, keyless pula. Sedangkan R1 desainnya keren abis, handling lebih unggul, dan sudah terbukti juara di WSBK. I'll prefer R1 for this moment.
People tend to look over the CBR's because of the R1's unique sound, ZX10R/H2R's squid status. The CBR is insanely good, altho the rubber brake lines is a turn off.
and its price, too. Sadly, the base model CBR isn't available worldwide. Some countries like U.S., have no other choice than the super-pricey SP model.
Very nice and simple explanation. Thanks. Can you tell us which one of these is easier on the pocket in the long run. Regarding maintenance and spare parts costs etc. Thanks in advance.
I think the only downside to the R1 and R1M is the poor braking. Michael Neeves from MCN even pointed it out that the brakes have poor bite so in track it hurts the performance compared to the blade (Non SP) which has Nissin calipers and it was revised for the 22ym for a better stopping power and Brembo for the SP model.
If Suzuki were to update their Gixxer, it could potentially be a game-changer. However, it appears that they have no plans to do so in the near future. They've already discontinued its sales in Europe and Japan.
As an ex Australian Superbike racer you simply can not pick any stock litre bike and say it’s better than another for the track. For example, basically everything that comes as stock is binned and replaced with higher spec components. Race suspension alone costs more than the MSRP for any of these.

@@hsynzgkc723 Thanks. It’s a good sign when people are open minded like you seem to be. Me? I used the non-sp Fireblade (base model) for this comparison, i think r1m should be compared to the Fireblade SP, as both feature Ohlins electronic suspension, which is the main difference between r1/r1m and Fireblade SP /non-sp model
@@kendall9758 np. It's because the triple r Fireblade's base model isn't offered globally, for example, in North America, which is why many people are unaware of its existence. 😁

A non-SP version of the RRR exists, but it's not offered globally, and the differences are not much. (The main differences are that non-SPs are fitted with Showa suspensions (black finish) and Nissin brakes instead of Ohlins semi-active suspension (gold finish) and Brembo brakes.

This seems so wild to me when my gen 3 2024 Hayabusa has a 1340cc engine and yet it has 188 horsepower, nearly 30 less than a 30% smaller engine but then again the hayabusa engine is a torque oriented low revving engine and not a track driven one
@@SecondGearYT It would be an interesting comparison as I think the results will be closer than most would expect. For example, my lap times around Phillip Island (once each has been set up for me) are almost exactly the same on the same street tyres.
