Put 3-4 pieces of tubing under the tiny house when loading it back on the trailer, it'll roll right off and roll back on the trailer easier. Use jacks to lift in front. Look up shed moving on RUclips

Becca, The ratchet straps from Lowes are not made for what they tried to use them for, you need a Tow strap for that, and your tow point should be on the skids.
Here is an idea. cut your hole through the wood on the trailer, and make a square insert to slide in down to the ice, that way you can leave the Tiny house on the trailer, and use stainless steel carriage bolts to mount the house to the trailer.
    Best of luck!

Aluminum or steel angles can reinforce the corners. Not sure that thing is really built to withstand that kind of movement on a continuous basis. Also having a wood structure sitting in slush isn't something I would do. Wood plus water equals tiny house not lasting 6 months.

Becca I'm just an o ld farmer but you need somthing like a 4×4 skid on each side that would support the house so no broken corner put a 45 degree angle on the ends . It will be higher on the ice. Years ago people used logs moved buildings all the time shure you could reserch and get ideas. And sorry for your dog. Being a farmer very familier with animal loss still never easy hopefuly she will have a long and comfortable life.

Make Sure To Pre-Drill The Holes You Want To Screw The Eye-Bolts In.

I wouldn't pull on those eye hooks. Instead run your much heavier strap under the house to the front and loop it around a board the same width of the house. Lay the board against the front of the house, on the skids. When you pull, it will distribute the load evenly across the house. Same thing in reverse when loading it back on the trailer.

Others have said it, but that's not how ratchet straps are supposed to be used. A tow or lifting strap would be needed for pulling like that. In Wisconsin you have to put your name and some other stuff on a ice shack that is left on a lake overnight. Easy money for the DNR.
My dad's first ice shack he built folded up to put away. Then when he got to the ice he unfolded it and set up a canvas tent on top of it. It was built this way because my dad hauled it out by hand. It had four ice fishing holes in it and benches to sit on. Wood was cheap back in the 1970's.
I have fished for lake trout in over 100 feet of water with line that wraps around a stick with a minnow on a hook. That is popular for guiding around here because it's cheap
