    Just for safety: move the sensor from your ceiling to a lower location. The gas actually sinks, it’s a heavy gas, and if you actually did experiencing problems-by the time it gets to the ceiling, you already don’t feel good. Just a mom here that’s also careful.

      Good call. I wish the carbon monoxide detector manufacturers would ensure that customers know how to use their products properly. It should have a LARGE & OBVIOUS warning on the packaging.
      I think alot of people think carbon monoxide detectors work like a smoke detector. Nope!!
      Smoke rises and CO2 is a heavy gas that sinks to the ground. The best place to have ur alarm is on the floor.
      If there ever was a leak by the time it built up enough gas to reach the alarm & set it off she would already be dead.

      I came to say the exact same thing. Drop the sensor to about 6 inches from the floor. Happy camping!

    Hi Becca, loved your video. Sorry about the water leak. I have a trick I have used for emergency water leaks that works amazing. I know it's going to sound ridiculous but in an emergency it works beautifully! I used to staple a disposable diaper directly under the leak. It holds water like crazy, it avoids getting everything else wet and will dry on its own once it stops raining until you fix the leak. If it takes you a couple of days to get to the leak the diaper will just keep drying up and getting wet once it rains again. I was really in a bad spot once and this saved me. I know, it's crazy but it works! Best wishes!!!

    My daughter and I are thinking about getting us an RV and traveling the us just all over. We are tired of paying rent and getting no where. We've both got money saved and I found a beautiful RV with a place that's big enough for two full size beds. Lots of living space so yes we can't wait to get started. As soon as my chemo treatments are done we are outta here. We will be taking our two cats with us because I'm not leaving them. They love going on the car so I'm sure this they'll love going in the RV.

    Girl, your CO detector should be closer to the floor. CO is heavier than air and builds from the bottom up. Keep up the videos!

    • @amandaslominski3972
      @amandaslominski3972 Год назад +3

      @Unintentional Failure Well smoke detectors are different as smoke raises in the air. CO actually moves around evenly in the room but rarely gathers near the ceiling. By having it on the ceiling it runs the risk of you being dead or passed out before it goes off. Just not a chance I would be willing to take. But everyone is different.
      PS. The vent next to the detector could keep the detector from going off also because fresh air is being gathered in that space. Food for thought.

    • @moonshayde
      @moonshayde Год назад +1

      Yep, the CO Detector should be at almost floor level and the fire alarm/detector near the ceiling but not near the air vent/fan. Not sure why they sell 2-in-1 smoke /CO alarms!!

    hello! I know the feeling. I stayed at a walmart last November for the first time. I don't like the feeling of not knowing if I am going to get ran off or not. Just can't relax. It went fine. I heard a long time ago that if you run a string from the leak the drop will follow the string to the other end. I guess a bucket might be best to tie off the other end?! I'm gonna try it if I ever get a leak. I guess a tarp works better. I keep one in my trailer. Thanks for the video and have a good week ahead!

    Be Sure That All Leaks Are Fixed Before You Insulate The Roof. It's The Same Way As You Wear A Toque on Your Head To Keep All The Heat Properly Inside Your Body.
    The Top IS Where Most Heat Loss Takes Place.
    Be Sure To Buy or Find A Milk Crate To Put A Strap Around When Your Propane Bottle Is Safely Held From Tipping Over Or Flying Around If You Have To Stop Quick.
    And Keep Your Buddy Heater Safely Held In Place With The Two Screw Holes on the Backside. Ensure That Your Handle Is Folded Down When In Use. You Can Add A Small Strap To Keep It Safely In Place When Going Over Bumps on or off road.!!

    Wagyu beef is probably one of the best types of beef you can buy, next to Kobi! First time on your channel, I really like your tiny house! More over I really like that camp oven! Mine I have to put on my camp stove. Works good, but I like the fact you can hook up your gas to it! Great job,and never turn your steak more than once.

    You should consider removing the ramp or having it modified to where it folds in half so when you're staying overnight in locations like Walmart it's easier to get into your camper.

    I have camped at Walmart in my 4x8 squaredrop and my 5x8 cargo trailer just for shits and giggles. At our Walmart it’s a wonderful place to camp overnight no issues whatsoever. The only downside is that the parking lot is lit up but still was a great time. I will be doing it again soon. The flying J is even better coz they open overnight. There’s a theater room,laundry and shower. Can’t ask for anything better than that

    Pro-tip for a roof leak - always have your trailer on a slight slant so water doesn't pool on the roof. Happy Glamping!

    Hi Becca. Another great video. Definately not Wagyu. 😂Not at that price.😂. Love the "Hybernation Station" Sign. It may not be real Wagyu but your cooking is always up to standard. Imagination and creation in the Hibernation Station. Love It.

      Gee the steak in the US must be expensive (I'm in Oz) I couldn't believe that steak was US$17- from a discount store. Is that normal??

    • @dianawardrip5171
      @dianawardrip5171 Год назад

      Walmart is not really a discount store and they have a lot of different things you don’t find in a regular grocery store. A lot of people buy their meats!

    If you haven't yet, you should put some insulation on your ceilings if you haven't by now. Fiberglass, foam (spray or board) or other insulation materials.

    I saw a video on love's and it was about them expanding their overnight stay areas by adding more stall with electricity for 31 a night and bigger sites with full hook up 43..cheaper than Koa and it said showers and laundry included in stay ...now I am not exactly sure what they mean by that but showers are like 15 so subtract that from fees....sounds like a good deal.

    LOVE your tiny house camping videos!
    BECCA, I have seen you use your propane oven several times INSIDE places, as opposed to OUTSIDE, well vented of course. Do you recommend it (again well vented) for Van camping? I have a Chevy Classic Conversion Van and can see that possibly being very helpful to have one and use it for weekend getaways. I tend to take the Van for weekenders, and not the Class A Motorcoach, it's just too big for that use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏 🙂 😊.

      yes! as long as you’re safe and it isn’t too high. you don’t want it too close to the ceiling. windows open, CO2 detector, and a fire extinguisher. and you’re good to go!! just be safe.
