Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiast. I contact each person who send me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up what happened after what we see on their video. Voice over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.
From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

The first clip really shows the importance of being alert and aware of you surroundings while driving. Hope everyone has recovered from that horrible crash.
Since the first time I was rear-ended I've always kept an eye on my mirror when I'm stopped, the second time it happened I was stuck in traffic so all I could do was watch and yell stop you dumb fvck, but he didn't.

yea now i'm seriously considering buying a GoPro to use as a dash cam.
@@Kira-uj8os there are dedicated dash cams that are better for this. If you hook them right into your car they can start recording as soon as you start the car. Show speed, GPS and save recordings if they detect collision.

The bus driver supposed to yield the car even it was breaking the rules. How about if a cop car or ambulance coming? He/she must check if the whole road is clear to make a left turn IMO.
@@peterbalogh3112 Mate I don't even have a drivers license yet and I know that that bus driver was in the right. How was he supposed to yield for a car that is doing something is illegal and is speeding. Your trying to defend someone who is doing something illegal and could harm someone. Of course he's supposed to check the road whenever he takes a turn but by the time the bus even had time to, the car was sharing his paint with the bus. Plus he wouldn't be able to back out in time if he did see him. That person in the car was at total fault for that.
5:02 yeah, he almost fell out because the driver of the pickup wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Thanks to the pickup driver wearing a bright orange shirt, we can see there is no seatbelt over his left shoulder or across his chest.
There are a special breed of stupid people that don't wear seatbelts.

I absolutely love the style of these cams. Unlike other compilation, includes a short before/after story if applicable, and proper credits for the video. I quite enjoyed that

Bus driver here: Buses aren't designed to have crumple zones. they are designed to F anything up that they hit.
And this is why you dont mess with school buses. They are designed to be like tanks shoving anything in it's way like that SUV.

@@liamm8198 I thought that was obvious. Relying on the thought that people follow the rules to keep you safe doesn't protect you! I had to learn that the hard way already. (I was hit by car on my bicycle that didn't yield at all and plowed me invalid for nearly one year. I had the right of way, but did that thought protect me?)

Ask any cop, women are often the ones who come at you at a time like that, maybe from generations getting away with it. A cop friend said that young guys are now hitting them in times like that, where they never would in previous generations

Fun fact for number 2 is a hospital (Atrium Pineville) just past the overpass where we see multiple MVA victims come from the exact same accident every month. Crazy to see one actually caught on camera!

@@marcusjones153 Not in belgium you'd not. Drink driving = full liability. No question. No matter what the other driver was doing.
Being drunk is its own crime but not necessarily cause of accident. You can't over simplify things. Here's an example, a guy is drunk but he stops at red light, a girl playing with a cell phone is not paying attention and hits the drunk driver with her car. Same incident two separate charges, technically that drunk did not cause the accident the girl did.

That guy giving a thumbs down to the Tesla, I was fortunate enough to test drive a Tesla at work and I must say, what a piece of art, absolutely insane to drive, luxurious isn't the word, they are so comfortable and quiet inside and look great on the outside, if I get the chance to own one, ill be jumping at the opportunity 😀

@@robertbennett2796 1st , Tesla is very expensive in my country (i dont know why). 2nd, EV charger in my country are not enough for travelling, for now Tesla in my country is suitable for daily ride to work, and not to traveling. 3rd, in Malaysia its doesn't have Tesla Supercharger Station. This is why Tesla is very hard to buy or use in Malaysia for now. I hope in the future, EV charging station will be better and suitable for travelling. I just found Tesla on the road twice and the both of them are Model 3 🇲🇾☄😁. And my age is 14😂

Well, I don't exactly know how insruance works in 'murica, but, isn't car insurance mandatory there? I mean, if some uninsured retard crashes into you, you can only rely on your insurance? Also, ain't the guy that totaled your car supposed to pay up for another one, or the real value of the car before the crash? And how comes that the guy with the tesla's insurance could do nothing about it because the car was totaled, shouldn't the insurance cover the costs of the car itself after the crash? It all seems crazy to me tbh

@@JoshTheFrosch07 Ikr, it’s so messed up. The people responsible in this case should be in debt to the Tesla owner. They should be in debt of however much the car costs to the owner. Then pay it off within 4 yrs. it’s a dumb system.
The Dodge driver must’ve gotten in trouble for not having insurance and for causing an accident (I hope they made a speedy recovery!). Totaled cars are usually given a check depending on the cost of the damaged car but it may not cover the entire cost of the vehicle you just lost depending on your insurance. You’re not left with absolutely no car, but I think it does suck though either way that something you’ve worked for can be lost in an instant because of someone else. Hopefully if the Tesla driver still had payments, they have GAP to help soften the burden at least a little bit
