The man has arguably the greatest hip hop album of all time. Had the same album inducted into the library Congress at Harvard university. They study illmatic for poetry. And also couple years ago he received an ICON award. Also in the last 2 years he has dropped 3 Classic Albums for the history of the hip hop culture. With topics about almost everything we live in today's world. Any shot at this genius is just a hate move . He's a living legend and the G.O.A.T. In hip hop and all hip hop heads know that. Congrats guys on your channel. Great for the culture
Thanks to 21 Savage’s response, he just made NAS more RELEVANT 👏🏿
Most definitely...peace and love form Ghana..West Africa
Peace and love from South Africa ✊
@@shameegbastiaan1723 🇿🇦 🇿🇦 🇿🇦
peace my Kings from Nigeria
Instant classic Nas the undisputed 🐐👑🔥🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤
NAS fans are within the right they bragging rights to know what’s great in hiphop Nas just went out and proved to everyone we NAS fans have always the most hiphop educated 🔥✨ these are facts know metrically culturally proven.
Send that background beat to NAS A.S.A.P. !
Fr I love how my dude always has a basketball analogy in his remarks
Cin is so on point with him saying it feels like hate cuz I don’t understand why 21 would say that after kd3 release it’s like NAs stole the love from them😂😂😂
21 think he was strong off the album with Drake and wasnt expecting the magnitude of the backlash.
Im saying this before i even start playing the video. Even if we stay current and dont delve in the past greatness . A rapper dropped 4 of the 10 best albums of the last 2+ years, they all charted well and broke the internet. He has been touring and performing since 2020 nonstop to sold out audiences without having to cancle due to poor ticket sales( which 21 savage has done). His most recent songs are used regularly on Espn, the show the Ozarks had a whole episode centered around his album (the GOAT album), His media company produces some of the greatest documentaries and content like "rhythm roulette", every hihphop podcast talks about him at least once a week, he has had some great features, been in a commercial with one of the greatest athletes in the world for one of the biggest brands in the world. Can 21 savage match that?.
Independent on his own Mass appeal label which no one’s talkn bout
Agreed!
In reality we all know KD3 better than 21xDrake album
By far no competition that drake 21 shit garbage
Keep it up and stay consistent. The channel will grow.
Nas don't Diss the young heads he always show love
“Lay offfff the weEeeeeEeeed” 🤣 best quotable to anyone questioning hitboi and nas to stop
Alchemist did the “Book of Rhymes” beat from God’s Son. I would be cool with a Nas/Alchemist album
This is the one that I’m waiting for Alchemist did:
Book of Rhymes
Mastermind
Revolutionary Warfare
Tick Tock
My Way
No Ideas Original
Real talk bro. We shouldve been had more work from Alc and Nasir smdh
I second this.
@@Shahid1977 I love Mastermind
I just subbed and liked! You guys are too hip-hop for me to not too plus yall coverage on Nas is perfect and on point! Keep up the good work!
Appreciate it
Kings Disease III is a classic. Idc. It may not be considered that yet officially but I’m calling it now
Support Real Hip-Hop..Definitely A Top 5 Nas Project...#NotUp4Debate Lol
Good show fellas 👏
Talk you to God For THE RAP ROUNDTABLE PODCAST ! NAS is The Greatest Since Biggie .
Def hate but free press lol nas been getting under rappers skin since Illmatic
for shizzle they can't help it
I very happy for Nas recent success. 4 straight bangers in a row. He's much deserving. Jay is still my personal goat of all time
I was definitely tagging 21 Savage in my Nas artwork. I'm one of those loyal fans. 😂
I don’t feel like this album was anticipated but it definitely live up to any hype it receives as it should
Can't exepct sm1 that doesn't listen to the rap gods to have respect for them nas will always be relevant to hip hop
Get Light 💡
It’s still BS. If Jay-Z had released these projects - from KD1 through Magic and KD3 - the exact same bars, the exact same beats, the exact same flows… mainstream media radio, magazines and websites would be telling everyone to just give up because they’ll never be able to compete with what Jay just did in the last 2 years.
When hip hop fans feel like, “yo this is some BS” and feel like they need to call out these major outlets for doing Nas dirty, that by itself is indicative of a problem. Why doesn’t rap media respect it’s icons equally? Can you imagine if every time the Rolling Stones put out new music, the media either ignored it and/or tried to shit on it because they were worried about how it would effect the legacy of The Beatles? It’s ridiculous.
If Nas ain’t worried about it, why should we?
@@TheRapRoundtable I don’t think there’s anyone out there that loves hip hop just for the sake of hip hop as much as Nas, and it’s wack that some people try really hard to make it feel like it doesn’t love him back. It’s like with hip hop turning 50. It’s a big deal, and Nas is the only one trying to celebrate it with these EPs he’s putting together mixing old school with the new generation.
He also did finally address all this media blackball stuff for the first time in KD3 though.
In WTF SMH: “Community love, providing jobs. Why would you try to come for me, why you ain't proud of Nas?"
And in 30: “And now I can't tell if all the good that I did's bein' hid with they agenda again, ni**a. I know that y'all prayin' I go back to nothin'. We in the future, let's get past the frontin”
I think it clearly bothers him. He just doesn't want to be the guy who does interviews and plays the victim card. The tide can turn on you real easy if you become that guy that complains all the time. He basically laid that all out in I'm On Fire...
"I'm scorchin' and I never forced it. Even when forces and powers that be went against me. Y'all use that as an excuse, you dudes cannot convince me. Or trick me out my spot, y'all want my shit like Sherman Hemsley. I'm debunking the blackball myth, the facts more or less. I might hurt your feelings but, yo, sometimes it actually is.
Victimization, mix that with some entitlement. It's bound to explode. I make 'em stop, drop, and roll, move to the side with it. There's no stoppin' it, I'm rap's arsonist"
He also said you can’t worry about things that don’t matter to the art form 🎯
@@TheRapRoundtable 💯
I think Nas stay with Hit-Boy because Hit-Boy has range primo sound doesn’t have range
Wanted a Nas Primo album for so long but currently would prefer a Primo x Hitboi
We Definitely in The BUILDING 🏭
All really good points. Although I disagree on one thing. You said Nas outlasted young jeezy, but I think jeezy is still going strong. He definitely had a Head Start over Jeezy though and is more skilled Imo.
Addressing Nas working with other producers outside of hit boy.
I believe it will not ruin the chemistry that they have. hit boy has made great music with other rappers During this Kings disease / magic run. hit has produced for game, Beyoncé, big Sean and the butcher, just to name a few. A massive amount of output. But none of that work disturbed the chemistry that he shares with nas. Nas worked on outside projects as well, he’s been on concert produced documentaries and still has been able to get back to form. The connection of hit boy and nas have is not a fluke. If we believe in both these artists, if we believe that Kings disease is not simply luck. Then we should trust the nas ( just like hit) should be able to work with other producers and still be able continue his work with his boy. Let’s have faith that they will be able to return to form if given enough time and effort.
All that being said, I am ready for a premier album. And I trust that album, and that work that he does with Premo will not affect his relationship or artistry with hit boy.
I hear what you're saying.
Are ya gonna address how the media downplays Nas accomplishments??? Yikes!!
'Cause he's not a tool for the elite of the music industry. But let Jay-Z f**k over Colin Kaepernick for the sake of NFL and his Rock & Roll Hall of Fame speech is broadcasted everywhere like an Amber Alert...
We’re gonna touch on that either during the live Q&A this Monday or on episode 60. Stay tuned
@@SumDumGui jay deserves his flowers. So i wouldn't wanna take that away from him. But i just want people to be fair though. Rap round table are fair. Mike from according to hiphop is fair. But others seem like they dont want Nas to over shadow their favorite rapper. Which is most likely Jay-Z.
@@TheRapRoundtable the complex "review" is the one that i found funny. Nigga said Nas cadance was bad lol. And that the line "Be who u are even the sun doesnt know its a star" was corny. Im like wtf?? And thaf it lacked comedy?? To be honest the line. "Ya want my shit like sherman hemsley" was pretty fucking Hilarious if u ask me. But whatever

Have you guys ever spoken on MF DOOMs legacy? For me he is one of the greatest musical artists of all time and possibly the best hip hop artist. Top tier emcee of course. But also top tier producer. Humour, wit, intellectual, still hard and has his wits about him. Concepts of course. Versatility. Anyway, maybe a convo for the future. PEACE
I thought I was dolo w the premo take..I dnt want a full tape of it respectfully…I hate how y’all brush off “im on fire” tho
Hey guys. Can we speak
About Nas without disrespecting Hova?
Say what you want but Hova is a legend in his own right with unmatched talent.
Nas deserves to be giving his flowers without perpetually mentioning or comparing to Jay.
We didn’t diss Hov
Jay keeps putting himself in the argument
What’s up everyone? Can you please tell me where can I purchase The Rap RoundTable Hat From ?
Website coming soon family. Will drop the link in here once it’s active
It’s 4 albums in 2 yrs
?
All Nas could do to make his run even more epic in this 3rd quarter of his career is release a career ending 21 Savage diss track over the Ether instrumental lol make that little boy realise you can't talk slick about the GOAT. Action Bronson found out the hard way also haha!
please Nas and Pete rock should find common ground and settle the matter is so sad cuz i love both brothers
Nas is the Johnny Cash a rap
💯
Who is 21 savage
Yeah, 21 Common mammas ain't that popular , but he is legendary, I Ben leaving popular stiff to listen Nas, loving and Nas style, no pop. Nas is relevant

Can u gain new fans can u grow your fan base if u can then it is what it is u da best
