My setup is Amex Bus Gold, BBP, Delta Bus Platinum, and Capital One Spark. My spend on any one of them, far overshadowing all my personal cards combined.

Just got the BBP. I don't know why I didn't get it sooner. Best everyday spending card with no annual fee that earns points I think. Only downside is up to $50K, but I don't quite reached that limit with my current situation.

Not sure if you would reply but if one has multiple businesses like 1) Freelancer but not active for 2 years 2) App Developer with active App on App Store but not generating revenue 3) RUclipsr with no significant income 4) Various website owner but with no revenue, can we put all of it in the application or has to choose one (I think we have to choose one) and if choosing one, which one should we choose?

It would be good to do an analysis of the websites interfaces of those cards, specially because for business people what matters is the capacity of the card to help to categorise expenses

Excellent video. I am planning on getting the Ink Unlimited soon to charge expenses for my website, along with a Chase Military business checking account (free for veterans). I started my business just as the pandemic hit using the cashback card I had at the time (earning 1% - OUCH 😣😣), before I learned about credit/business from folks like you, Ask Sebby, TPG, & ListenMoneyMatters.
I know Chase has tightened standards on most business card applications of late, but do you know if they've relaxed a bit lately? I am planning to file as an LLC anyway (for many reasons), and that will surely help if I've set up a Chase business checking account and have my LLC papers/EIN in hand.

Why would anyone want a business CC without a somewhat legit business? Say you earn 50 bucks driving Uber last week, do you really need a business CC to track your $15 gas expenses? To me it is just a lot of headache. But if you have a rental property it will make sense to charge all the repairs and other expenses on it because it gets very costly by the end of year.

You need a business in order to get a card. I’ve tried many times and been declined many times and I’ve been a member with them for 3 years already. NO social security number doesn’t work when it asks you for your tax ID business number. You need legit paperwork and money flow. And if you are an existing member IT will count as a hard inquiry. They don’t count it as a soft when you apply for a business card. Been approved more then 5 times with there normal cards with no inquiry when you become a member.

@Fee Let me help you on this... Pre-Approved Offers mean you are qualified for what the Card Issuer consider to attract you as a customer. They usually get information (sold to them) from CRA or Sagestream. Initially they do a Soft Pull to pre-qualify you, But when you decide to take the “offer” big Issuers like Chase need to make sure (for various reasons) that your credit profile hasn’t changed since they made the offer (5/24, address match, debt %). Chase almost do Hard Pulls on almost anything you request like credit limit, new offers, etc. While American Express do only 1 initially and the rest are soft pulls. Other major banks like Citibank, BoA, C1 offers do a hard pull. This is not a standard for everyone, but it’s factual for me. I have 16 personal active accounts & 4 business accounts and many already closed. So My experience may be different than some but I know my stuff.

The following is a tangential and disjointed, hardly topical rant at times and me getting steam off from having every recon and success and data point I see run my face in my loyalty and work: I have been with Amex two years and they have given me nothing... no wait, they proved to me how full of shit they were in February or March I believe when my credit score dipped for a few days and in spite of it having been high for much longer and never truly having good reason for denying me clis or card applications, and the customer service Reps always being frustrated and baffled or making up some false authority like oh I see your ... NO! How are they going to take me from 2000, am already unusable number to 1000 and then act like they were being dubious and presenting me wiht a potential option a week later... WHICH WAS SO INSULTING BECAUSE THEY PRESENTED A PAYMENT OF 750 in the next three months as somehow a task when I demonstrated my ability to pay 7k by paying down my card over and over for three months in a row totaling 21k.... what the hell! So they pay super close attention to nonsense I can’t know but they don’t even realize I have demonstrated my ability to pay and alwuss have and never given reason to doubt it. I feel like they are just screwing with me at this point.
I have a 733 756 761 range of scores (FICO 8s from subscription to Experian which I monitor daily and have for two years)... I have been patient with Amex for two years. I have tried keeping utilization low during soft pulls but always always PIF and it is extremely frustrating because I’ve related to Amex that I have 2 million dollars in inventory I have a proven track record for sales with (making 3-5 k on eBay passively with only a percent of a percent of a percent of my inventory listed) and I keep my debt at zero percent... I have no late payments or derogatory marks. I have 30 inquiries most of which I derived from two months in hell with a dubious ram dealer when buying a truck to take care of logistics moving the metal mesh stacking pallets as many as thirty at a time on a hotshot trailer as they are stuck in Mississippi and I pay almost 1000 a month for 5k square feet of storage space for them to basically burn a hole in my pocket endlessly since September of 2019... I could be easily clearing 5-10K worst case scenario no problem but no matter what I do I cannot get a single cli or card from Amex other than my initial blue cash everyday at 2k cl. It is so frustrating and absurd reading data points... I’m literally at a loss. My denials are obviously bullshit because the only issue I get is “too many creditors recently accessed your credit” blah blah explanation and then the four made up subsequent answers, such as: your balances are too high for your limits... oh zero is too high. Whoops. At one point I demonstrated three months of paying off 7k on my card paying it down four times so my statement read totals with zero balance statement. I get my hopes up every time I think there is no way they will sent me this time... I literally have wasted so much time trying to get them to do anything fair for me. It’s so frustrating to be potentially realizing my full business plan which would be along the lines of not only pro audio, amplifier and hifi components sales but manufacture of capacitors, audio input, output and power electrical steel mesh cut c core and toroidal transformers with steeger, wardwell and New England butt braider harnesses and lead dressings... anyway, the only debt I have is my business truck which I got In order to bypass expensive freight shipping for round the country large inventories related to vintage pro audio and electronic test equipment, or tube inventories and down to all parts of manufacturing, planning to make very small runs of modular tube consoles that won’t be as stupid as busby which is a horrible crowd funded Canadian scam artist who used the funding to buy his tooling and work out his r&d I. Lieu of making sure he had viable prototypes and proven concepts that were temporally and economically feasible.
In the end, I feel I’m at a bit of a disadvantage since any inheritance from my fathers estate which was mostly derived from manipulating and controlling everyone else’s finances were essentially destroyed or seized by the fed after they had... a rather sanguinary disagreement resulting in the brutal ends of my siblings in 93. I don’t feel it is right to exploit the situation for money but I swear everyone else does: that fictional caricaturist defecate they recently came
Out in parts from paramount, previously from spike tv and produced by the one and only Weinstein.... Anyway, when I experience endless difficulty and my data points are just polar opposites of others... like why the hell cant I get a cli without any reason not to give me one? It is so frustrating. The algorithms are so invasive and yet lacking context or any sensibility. It is wrong to have replaced CSR often with an obvious barrier as they only serve as a human element to reiterate the algorithm without any interpretation that maybe thus isn’t alarming in context by a real human.
The most frustrating part of all of this is having my plans in order, but having put together the llc last February has been a trivial mess contingent upon my actual
Leasing a warehouse space locally so I can begin moving but even brokers are sparse. I just want one thing to go right for me with this. I feel like there’s more unwritten risk factors that I am raising because of
