I TOTALLY agree with you about being a CNA for forever! I’m 35 and next month will make 1 year of me being a CNA and I’ve made my mind up to go back to school next Spring or Summer. I cannot do this for too much longer it’s too much physical work and not enough pay. I’ve met ladies who been CNAs 15,20,30 years and I’m just like HOW?!I’m getting out the CNA game 2025 it’ll be 3 years by then and that’s enough for me! Also S\O to you fellow Michigander ✊🏾
I made so much money during COVID and got so much experience and I was not even a nurse yet. I was a CNA/PCT. There were tons of LPNs traveling as CNAs and NPs traveling as RN to work.
As an lpn? I am an rn with 6 months experience moving there. What should ? About how much money will they pay me or nurses R.N with 6 months experience make in the Cleveland area?
@@moonlightandstaryeyesbestr6061 In nursing Homes you can get $38-42 for RN. LPN is $28-$38 depending on experience at most facilities. In the hospital setting it’s less pay generally.
@@moonlightandstaryeyesbestr6061Akron and Cleveland pay nurses well. Agency pays RNs reallly good but you’re going to have to work the most trifling facilities. Lol
For the old people who still CNA let me give you some alternatives. There are live in jobs that pay 6 figures. You can start your own group home with your own patients and you can be a private concierge too. You aint lying though. If you in California you can challenge the LPN/LVN after 5 years and with a pharmacology test.

lol I don’t mind the aide work But the pay is a disgrace although the pay now ain’t so bad $23 hr At most places but it could be better. lol

Ohio does pay well. Up in the Cleveland area. They are paying newbies between 36-38 an hour.

I worked with a Nursing assistant that is 83 years old and she’s still doing it! Same place for over 40 years.
You look so good. I can tell you’re putting your health as a priority now.
I miss those $500 bonuses. We were getting that before covid. Nobody would even pick up with that.
My bonuses were more than my regular paychecks. 😂

They pay that to LPNs in Ohio and cost of living is way lower than NYC. NYC should be $80 hr. Lol
