I got confused here, in this video you tell us to get lucky hit chance on headpiece at 14:03, but on the FAQ video you posted there at 23:50 you say lucky hit has been nerfed to the ground and it doesn't matter anymore. So do we get lucky hit or no for afixes?

I change the skill tree and complete paragon tree as per this guide and got the two hand staff. The difference with those changes was night and day when running the same pit (50) with same gear. I can’t wait to get the right tempers and min max

Great info. I just wanted to say I know this is end game focused but for newer players you very much can play frozen orb from the start. I’m running thru NM dungeons 15-20 levels above to get the higher item power and boss drop mats earlier. It will only get easier until 100. I don’t have the amulet yet either.
This is more endgame focussed.

Thanks so much, can confirm that your build is superior to all the other Frozen Orb Builds out there. Clear Speed seems to take a slight hit, but the bosses stagger much much quicker and thus I am able to kill them more quickly. Nice. Let's see how much I can push. I still don't dare to tackle the uber bosses until I get more masterworking done.

I played firewall and did a frozen orb after, at around lvl 51 pit I started dying because I didnt have the stagger. So I tried Necro for a while cause I thought it would be more tanky, maybe it is, but coming back to this build....man the speed just feels so amazing a nd freezeing and exploding everything... this build is just the most fun imo. And I think its the most efficient speed farming build, clear time is just through the roof cause you aoe and move so fast.

Awesome variation of the Frozen Orb Build. I will try switching around to see if your build performs better than my current setup. It would be nice to see your stats on the guide or in the video, like how much Crit Chance, Lucky Hit Chance, etc. we should be aiming for. I am still struggling with Mana and I am scared to take off Tibaults Will Pants, but we will see if I can manage with a similar setup to yours.
mana per second stat on legendary armor is 100 times superior over crappy tibaults
any way to fit tyraels aswell as shako into the setup?
sitting at tier 60 capd armor, 76 max res, 15k hp along and the boss oneshots me, crits are up to 700 mill roughly currently lvl 100.
dungeons feel somewhat smooth but the bosses oh boy :D
ill follow the guide and see if I can feel any changes.
I followed your build to the T but changed these stats and now im solo pit 110 so far. your priority should be crit damage, vulnerable damage, base damage as these are your base multipliers. then your other damage priorities are damage to frozen, damage with cold, damage vs crowd controlled. Super helpful vid bro, inspired me to main frozen orb :)
Hello fellow FOer. Nice, 116 is the highest ive hit so far. Lemme know what you get up to
crit damage and vuln damange is worse than close damage. Especially the tempering risk of bricking is substantionally higher. There is no special multipliers to crit or vuln damage, all additive damages are exactly the same which makes close damage the strongest.
Also you never want to get damage to frozen / damage to cc since these dont work on bosses for pushing outside of stagger.

How far could you push with it? Or did you swap to perma immortal with +Flameshield and ⚒️ Flameshield-Duration like nearly all other FrozenOrb/Sorc-Pusher. Is perma immortal the only way?
Hi, iIcan easy push Tier 95 now. If you max all shown items this will be incredible easy to do higher pits. I swear. Yesterday I got a staff with 2 greater affixes on it, max it to 12/12 and pushed from Tier 75 to 95 EASY 🙂 This build is incredible

I really like this build guide - Conjure glyph has been pure win for me. What do you think of Lurkin's Frozen Orb push build that is doing 104 pit? He seems to go a very different route, but it's quite effective. I'd love to see what you could do with it.

How much base attack speed do I need to drop Esu's Ferocity and its corresponding aspect entirely? I would love to switch it to maybe Avalanche + the Conjuration 20% DR aspect. Having a hard time deciding how much attack speed is just enough.
Between this and blizzard which is better overall for pushing. Currently running blizzard on nm 60 dungeons. Havent gotten into the pit yet (leveling glyphs).
I get the uber starless Ring with a greater on crit damage. Could i use it or a Other ring. ?

I moved to blizzard in the end after completing all the content. Frozen orb was my favourite and I think it was such a shame it was too week (late game). I might revisit later.

I think best way to get shako is still farm uber duriel :D I think I use season 3 and season 2 premium battle pass cosmetics combined

Starless Skies is 40% Damage. Legendary Rings is ~80% Damage. And Resource can be fixed in different ways.
I have 3 leftover skill points, what should i use them on? I followed the endgame skill tree exactly except for the gear as I have to get new gear for the skill stacks

If you dont have Shako you has to use the Starting Setup Build wich uses it.

Fairly certain Accelerating Aspect + Vyr's Mastery keystone is more damage than Esu's + Ancient flame as long as Vyr's remains bugged. My napkin math might be off, but it looks that way at least not to mention the DR from Vyrs.
I use accelerating aspect ;) I cannot confirm Vyrs Mastery is bugged because I did not test it yet.

I think aiming for lucky hit and having FN and ice blades as enchants can deff add a lot to the freezing and stagger.
For later end game, think imma go full ice to freeze and stagger. No fire.

The point he makes in the vid is the aspect is doubled on a 2h and the dmg multiplier from frozen orbit aspect is done after everything else, meaning you get all your dmg multipled by 120%. Which is why you need att speed on everything to make up for the loss meaning no talrash as it has no att speed
Burning doesnt stagger. Burning is REQUIRED for any endgame viable build. Devouring Blaze Multiplier is just way too strong to ever not playing burning.
Ice blades enchant is good to get some extra mana reg, but definetly behind the others damage wise. But in very late game it all can change with certain stat breakpoints
@@GoldfarmingGuide is it tho? aint there an aspect that gives more damage? The only reason I say that is because if those popints could be placed alsewhere, could help.... I see it this way in m y head, i freese things, they cant attk... I constantly freeze, they die. Something i deff want to try. How optimal can it be? idk. Im not a good pilot either tbh, so there is that.

I tried to set up this build ....... but I really miss a lot of mana - I don't have the 4 mana on chest - and no harle - how can I fix that ? do you have an idea ?
get 4 mana on chest and 4 mana on helm. Just enchant it its pretty easy to get

I cant tell you without testing all the builds. It really depends both builds have strength and weaknesses. Blizzard slower in dungeon but stronger on bosses, etc. Blizzard you also cant play the glass cannon style because you dont have the lightning spear cc etc.
@@GoldfarmingGuide I use lightning spear with blizzard, I hit average 2-4m but It feels so bad and boss clear can actually be slower sometimes if they move around.

Maybe it's quicker than blizzard but not sure if it's better for slow guys like me.. did you try ice spikes with the 3rd aspect (15% chill & ice armor trail)? Could be useful for staggering through high attack speed. Also you say tal rasha is dead, but i quite like it with andariel's visage - often keeps you alive through leech
So if youre relaxed player this build is definetly not good for you :D This is very button spammy. Blizzard much more relaxed

@GoldfarmingGuide what do you think about the suggestion of swapping the Fire Bolt enchantment for Ice Blades? I read today that it's not necessary to equip Fire Bolt as an enchantment for the burning synergy, because Frozen Orb summons Hydra's that apply burning, which is good enough for boss fights. Thoughts?
I also say that in the video where I explain the 3 enchantment choices. It's slower dungeon clear but slightly faster boss clear.

keep masterworking your gear for more resource cost reduction and resource generation. Get +X mana per second rolls on chest/helm. Double check if you have correct passive on frozen orb. Spam ice blades

Temper lucky hit to recover resource +roll mana regen on at leat 1 piece of gear

10+ conjurations up at a time you will have no mana issues.
I am level 70 at the moment and I am wondering which build I should use. Advanced or Basic? I keep running out of mana with other builds from other youtubers so I am very confused
this is an endgame build. If you’re level 70, much better to play blizzard
don't know where I got my amulet but wasn't Zir, I've just done helltides, pits and a little nightmare and pvp zone..
It can drop anywhere but you can target farm it at zir
i read somewhere Vyr's Mastery is bugged and effects all spell types not just shock spells , a better option then Esu's Verosity

Attack power is not really a reliable stat. It ignores conditional modifiers and only uses unconditional ones.
Also make sure to press "evade" with Esus Boots on so the crit gets factored in ;)
Same with attack speed elixir
Also dont look in town look at training dummy

For controller you can try Incinerate, Ball of Lightning, Necro or WW Baba.
Im playing it on the xbox controller just fine.
why do you temper "chance to slow/freeze/etc" ? seems useless?

I have a question regarding the weapon: You say you couldn't get it to work with a wand and focus. At the same time you stressed that this is a lucky hit chance build because of the stagger, as well as how important attack speed is for this build. Using a wand would give you both. It has 20% faster attack speed and built in lucky hit... wouldn't that be better?
The lucky hit is really not so relevant. you have 3 stagger phases and you reach them totally regardless of the lucky hit. 2 Hand staff just gives you 120% base frozen orb damage instead of 60 which is huge.
@@GoldfarmingGuide And what exactly triggers the stagger? Is it possible to increase that? Yeah I forgot about the 2h bonus completely, my bad, just tested it and it makes a huge difference indeed.

Dunno, i used incinerate and could do dungeon 50 with no problem, this build is (as said in the video) a glass cannon, but it dues much less dmg than incinerate (with all the items of the cheaper build). Probably i'll return incinerate.
This is an endgame build. Really you cannot play this in your current stage.
How come you got a +52 all stats on ur shako? I'm 15 tries deep and it seems like it's not possible?

Why do we want to stack lucky hit chance? Frozen orb is like 4% at maximum. Ice blades is 15% maximum. Doesn't that mean that frozen orb has only 4% chance to proc that crowd control effects from tempering affixes?
Nobody is stacking lucky hit chance. We just use the lucky hit chance we can get for free, like Aspect of Fortune.
The Chance is low, but in the end, especially ice blades have a very high lucky hit chance.
You throw so many orbs that it matters.
@@GoldfarmingGuide thank you. I am finding this build hard to balance. Whenever i get decent gear it lacks attack speed or when i get attack speed or something else i cant hit temper recipe properly:( so far managed to do 50 pit. Looking for tinkering more with setup.

Get mana per second roll on your armor pieces. Its very strong stat. Keep spamming ice blades.
Also you can put hydra on your bar. It will add 3% mana reg per hydra from conjuration mastery if you cast 2 hydras every 12 seconds

Also, isn't focusing on Lucky Hit bad for this build, since Frozen Orb lucky hit is nerfed to bits, it's like 4% base iirc? @@Quel_droma im not stacking lucky hit. I just use it where i can get it for free to increase my stagger and orb cast by conjurations. But whenever I can get a different stat I do not go lucky hit

Maxroll builds are not very detailed and usually just updated once before the season even starts, so I would not recommend going crazy on them. They are a good "baseline". But theyre far away from behin viable builds.

So put Mana gen on your chest as well
if u use 1h weap + focus, the weap has 1.20 aps so its 20% attack speed free

Gathered an Advanced build. The clothes are almost the same as yours. Completely copied the paragon board and the skill tree. My attack power is only 12,000. How did you reach 25,000 attack power?
Been asking this. He has 50k atk power and I have no idea how. I have identical gear.
Attack power is not really a reliable stat. It ignores conditional modifiers and only uses unconditional ones.
Also make sure to press "evade" with Esus Boots on so the crit gets factored in ;)
Same with attack speed elixir
Also dont look in town look at training dummy
