I took this build from being hard walled at T63 to being able to clear T100s. Optimized to the moon for Boss damage, but she is approaching her limit around T104 until they lower the bosses health or fix the 1 shot mechanics.
Sorcerer is basically a poverty class this season.
Everyone else's Frozen Orb build wrong. I see firebolt enchant, frost nova enchant for stagger. I see conditional damage everywhere, control glyphs, cold damage tempers, and shredding blades lol (doesn't give 1.3x damage). You need Ice blade and frozen orb enchant and close damage tempers as they have a higher value. Firebolt enchant is an absolute throw when Summoned Hydra can give you all the single target burning you need as mobbing isn't a concern.
Ice Blade Enchant carries the build by providing immense cooldowns when face tanking bosses. Ice Armor and Flame shield cooldowns are incredibly important. I opted for lucky hit chance to heal over flame shield duration as I would run out of potions otherwise. This build requires extremely good gear to make it strong, but at the end of the day it will still have worse boss damage than both Immortal Firebolt and Blizzard. Sorc is pretty down bad, but I try.
In my opinion, Frozen Orb is more fun to play and more visually appearing, you just need to temper your expectations and set a goal of a T100. You cannot hard carry tormented duriel/andariel with this, but you will definitely hold your own and not be a carry. If your group has decent DPS you are not a detriment and runs are smooth once it is online.
The 104 attempt shows proof of concept, it's just execution. I cleared 101 with a lot of time to spare to unlock 3 tiers. I had the time to finish the boss on this run. One mistake and your insta dead. I don't know what Blizzard was thinking with Pits, but this isn't it. Please let me apply crowd control tags to bosses and unstoppables and stop capping all our multis and tying them to crowd control. Blizzard created a boss meta and didn't adjust the class to work well within it. Игры

Glad to see you refining the Frpzen Orb build. I am running one this season too and I am languishing down around Pit 40 with only 4 Masterworks on each gear piece and running no fire skills as usual (except when Hydra spawns). I know when I try to push higher I will have to go full cheese and use everything that I can. My gear is also sub-par with only two items having more than 1 enhanced stats. So, getting better gear is my first priority before pushing higher Pits. So far, mana has been my biggest weakness but I made some adjustments and seem to have a handle on that. Now I need to work on damage dealing.

Hey Lurkin, just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your build! I was hard stuck at T75 in the pit following the Maxroll guide, and thank to yours, I'm pushing T95 so far with the same gear!

I am swapping to Lurkin's from North's too. I hit a wall doing P40 where I always die with Noth's despite all my gear being 5/5 desirable stats (no ubers yet) - barrier uptime is very low and cooldowns are never available. Hope this build is better, luckily the stats on gear is very similiar!
Great build! thank you for sharing helped me make a better set up for my current load out. Acquiring GA and masterworked Gear made a difference too though I was lacking in those
its a struggle man, super hard to get good gear, then you gotta get through the tempering which is a nightmare

Yeah unfortunately the immortal version was the last variant and I am done for the season. I put in a lot of work to deal fractions of the damage a barb can and I’ve just had it with this season

Great build! More impressive, is the technique of play. I’m topping out at 60’ish at master working on weapons and jewelry up to 7 or 8/12. I’m gonna mess around with my boards some, and also change up a skill or two (and maybe aspect).

Hi, great build, I follow your guide on mobalytics. Since the build variants changed a bit since your video came out, I have a few questions, if you have the time (Im in the very endgame now using the maxroll Immo-variant and I'd like to understand better and deep dive a bit):
1.) Maxroll copied your Immortal Vyr build, but there are some small differences: Your variant has some points in defensive things, for example Mana Shield in the skill tree (instead of Precision Magic) and on the starting paragon board you put points into resistance to all elements (on the right side of the glyph). Maxroll also uses the Control glyph, whereas you use Enchanter and there are some more small differences in the paragon setup and skill tree. Since this build goes for permanent FS, why do you have points in these defensives? Can you please explain those differences?
2.) You have two variants for "Immo Vyr", stating that the second one is "smoother". I can see that the paragon boards are a bit different, dropping Winter for example, but I dont really understand what makes the second one "smoother". Can you pls explain what you mean by that?
Also, for the first Immo Vyr variant you write that you need to "fish" for bosses with adds. Why is that? Is that something that becomes important when pushing? Because at the moment I am farming 101s and none of the bosses are a problem, even the ones without adds?
3.) Maxroll puts one Cold damage temper on the items for Frigid Fate, you don't. Do you reach the cap with only the paragon boards? I tested on the training dummy without my gloves on (with maxroll paragon board) and with Mobs I reached the cap because of Winter, but when Bossing I stayed on 26%. What are your thoughts here?

I can say, this is the best version of Frozen Orb I played yet.
Cleared pit 93, carried 3player Tormented Grigoire and 2player Tormented Duriel.

i like you build i play ball lightning for now my next char is gonna be frozen orb im totally a fan of enchanter glyph aswell since it does give lots of non phys dmg also it gives elemantar resistence and with the new uber unique you reach cap 81% all which is real important. what i dont like is kinda using tactician over territorial since you build a close one frozen orb build else the paragonbaord looks good :) also for early gameplay using blizzard as enchantment will fix mana issues alot since it does reduce the cost by -20%

Hello can you please tell me the formula for mana generation?
I know that lucky hit chance is skill chance. So for example if the skill reads 20 percent chance to give you 15 mana when hitting a vulnerable enemy and you have 30 lucky hit chance the formula is .20 times 1.3. So how does mana generation work? Because for that skill of 15 mana would I be getting an extra 10 percent of that if I have 10 percent mana generation? Or would mana gen only work for mana regeneration? WowHead and youtube generally did not show me exactly how mana generation worked or what the formula was. So I am not sure how good it is in your build because I do not understand it.
I have a 2 GA Fractured Winterglass at Non-Physical Damage and Ranks to Conjuration. Upgraded my Fractured Winterglass to level 8 and got the level buff on Ranks to Conjuration and now it is sitting at +4. With my Shako, I am pretty OP right now lol

i think what would really help with damage is first to get conjur glyph for more conjurotion 20% duration is huge i reach up to 15 sometimes 16 with that + esu and esu does help with cycling abilities so more flame shield for bossing

put whatever temper gives the highest value with the best uptime. the way the build plays with the bugged vyrs passive is damage to close. higher value than vuln. and I am NOT asking players to level a rogue to temper stuff on. out of the question I am not rob

Would you take a 2x GA on fractured where its CR/Skills but lowest % on unique stat or no GA with 2 skill and high % on unique stat(Chance on frozen orb cast etc)

ive gotten 2 winterglasses. one is +2 conj mast with bad roll on the effect but the other is the opposite with high roll but only +1 conj mast which would you say is better for now till i get one with both?

I might be wrong but it's not about the extra damage output, its about the damage reduction and face tanking a bit better from Vyr's
Ok, now the real question. What's up with refreshing on Mobalytics? Half the time it brings up an outdated version of the build and half the time the builds are moving around from A-> S -> A tier. It's like if you click on a link a different way they are resolving to different versions of the build

Tell me, I knocked out Shako yesterday, started using it and it feels like the assembly has become weaker. In the Standard Pre Users and Standard Users builds, are there differences only in shako and the ring of heaven? Or do they need to be used in conjunction, and only then will there be an effect?
Shako should make things way better because of the ranks and 20% damage reduction. Starless just solves your mana issues, but your attack speed suffers
can you explain why concentration vs everliving? Everliving gives you 25% and everything is crowd controlled/vulnerable with orb right?

Tibaults will is a waste. Just get 20 minimum mana regen from a pluss 5 mana pr sec affix. Then conjuration tempering ice shards. If you can keep 10 minimum conjurations up, then mana is on auto. Allso offcourse drop vulnerable on orb. The lightning spears does it for you. Get mana there. Opens up not needing tibaults. Edit; wrote before I saw the pluss mana mentioned.
Are you sure starless skies are better than a really good normal ring with aspect and tempering?
Avalanche gives you alot of mana aswell.
I agree about the rings. But what do you propose to put instead of tiba? at least they give us 20% multiplicative damage, which is so lacking in frozen orb build

@@belodor3399 Normal item/ansestral, with int as greater affix, and then 2 others depending on what you need. this will allso give you a good defensive or utiluty aspect to put on it.
@@jun0953 we can have good cdr so its easy to uptime buf by teleport spam, also it gives us more def by teleport passive talent

more survivability is pretty useless.. uber bosses don’t damage until u get 5+ stacks, after that they’re just a one-shot. in a high pit (95+ in boss room) it hurts so much that it absolutely won’t save

Gonna just upgrade to a barb so i can stand in all the damage, and do 10x damage at the same time.
I have a question that my boyfriend and I are confused about. He has a winter glass amulet with a greater +3 to conjugation mastery. He hit his first masterwork 4/12 on it and it still shows +3. Shouldn’t it have gone to a 4? If not, how many times does he have to hit it and what is the highest it can go? 4 or 5? Strange winterglass doesn’t work the same as other passives on amulets. Almost like it was intentional
GA conj mastery will go 4 ranks with 1 or 2 Masterwork hits at 12/12. It needs 3 hits to go to 5 ranks. so basically hit conj mastery 3 times, or hit conj mastery once, and cooldown twice. these are your options
Great build I changed from Chain Light to this. Can you tell me why not use Raiment of the Infinite ? I'm using it rn and it so good with flame shield.
on a regular build you become pretty squishy. and tibault's is safer and more damage plus mana regen. didnt find a need for raiment, i dont see a need for it on a lot of builds. on immortal, flame shield duration tempers take that slot
I think the best is buff some builds instead of nerfing the boss, because some necro and barbs builds will Cruise trought lvl200 pit if the nerf them.

ive got a GA cooldown winterglass but it only has 1/2 conjure mast or another winterglass thats 2/2 conjure and max casting effect thats a normal CD roll. whats the prio on the stats?

Jon, just masterworked to 12/12 on my starless. First 2 were crit chance, last one lucky hit. Does that suck or is it actually better than crit damage and core damage?
For starless I don’t think it really matter. The build uses lhc so it’s not a waste
We drop frigid breeze once we get starless to max out teleport. you could also take precision magic.

I’ve seen people running frozen orbit on a staff for 120% damage on 2/3 of attacks instead. I know wand and focus have a higher attack speed and you get cooldown reduction on the focus. What are your thoughts?
The higher your attack speed is, the more conjurations that spawn, the more frozen orbs spawn, the more damage you will output. And you get 2 aspects instead of 1 and they are crucial for this build.
i tried staff. felt sluggish unless I had ancient flame, then i just had little aspects
Doesn't the Lighting Spear and Ice Blades proc the Devouring Blaze?
Not sure if you still need to spec into the hydra if they do?
i dont have firebolt enchant, no they don't, i don't need mass burning when mobbing just use holy bolts or plow through them. entire builds need to revolve around one thing right now, Boss damage. That's the sole focus is maximizing that

Have you tried esus ferocity? It gives you with the aspect permanent 50% attackspeed. But maybe I miss something

I have a problem with your build. I did the build according to your guide with Mobalytics, but my resistance is only 50-55%. Only cold resistance I have at 70%. Why is this the case? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to change skulls to gems for resistances? Previously, I used the build from Maxroll and had all the resistances at max (70%). Now I created a shako, changed the build to yours (Immortal Esus) and I have a big problem with survivability due to low resistances.
sounds like you have rubys in your armor and not topaz. You can smidge around some points iin the boards to get more res too

Close damage tempering is a naturally higher percentage, being a 30% higher max roll. On top of that, sorc paragon has tons of cold damage bonus already, so you’re getting a lot of diminishing returns lumping more cold damage on top of that instead of having close damage.
how are you getting shako?
I just gambled a focus with crit, CDR and int... bricked it on tempering with damage to distant.

If you're farming the bosses a lot, you should wait for one to drop and craft the other. Nothing hurts more than crafting one and then having it drop right after lol

@@bartmuskens6722 So I got my masterwork at 12 on fractured winterglass. My conjuring is 3 and yellow then it gave me vulnerability on masterwork 12. So the conjuring being 3 and yellow what does that mean?. I got 6 points on conjuring skills now is that alli can get in conjuring as far as points. Also I master worked my Harley Quinn at 12 and got 3 blue in cool down reduction all stats and maximum health. Any idea what to work on next as far as Master working I have all the Ubers for this build. My ring of starless skies is at masterwork 10 has 2 blue rolls on critical strike chance and core damage.. My Tal Rasha is masterwork 9 but my stat cooldown reduction is yellow and at 1 0. 7 as of now. Any ideas what I should work on next. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a +4 CM on my Fracture Winterglass (8 upgrades), I got + cooldown reduction for the 2nd upgrade, which is nice

Hi. I'm following your vyr immortal build online with exactly the same gear. I have only 8118 armor. I know that there is an explanation about how to reach armor cap but with that gear, with those affixes it's not possible without changing one of them choosing + armor. Can you explain that please
Uhhhh you need 12/12 gear with an armor roll on pants and 3 skulls in jewelery. You will probably be 100-300 armor shy and that’s fine because the build is mostly immortal. You probably have low armor because your armor roll on your pants is a min roll. It needs to be perfect it’s just unfortunate.
Mate you are missing elixir/incense from your build on mobanalytics as well as offensive/defensive breakpoints, if you would like to add those! Thanks for your build

Major question that noone has been able to answer yet. Is % damage better than flat intelligence on your offensive gear?
depends. youd need to spreadsheet your additives and see what gives you a larger % increase relative to what you had before. and then do the same thing with int comparing 1 plus int/1000 of the new and old. They equate to about the same
I saw all your build in mobalytics. I named my soc lightning. Can you showcase a lightning build, crackling, CL, balls, orbs.

Acknowledging your barriers, how do you not get one shotted? At max gear and all, at tier 60, many mechanics are undodgeable and instant one shot. Many people complain this too. How are we able to just stand in front?
Some will 1 shot me. It's Vyrs, reinforced, Concentration spam, tibaults close DR. etc
So farm on 70 on sorc for speed for my barb and necro. Got it!
I think you can speed 90s on Barb and Necro faster ngl
Why do you have crackling energy in the smooth build? I can't figure that out.

I am not sure that gydra provides burning damage. By default they does only fire damage but i dont see any burning on boses and enemies hitted by hydra. I think we need to take 1 skill points into burning hydra mod for apply burrning.
it does ive tested it, i take summoned hydra. i forgot to have it on at first, but i caught the mistake midway through the skill tree
