Anyone else put any thought into Tools new Albums name? What were the odds they would name their 1st album in 13 yrs such a bizzare name "Fear Inoculum" and then four months later have a global pandemic bring society to its knees. Finally for the finale coup de gras a vaccine will available soon and I imagine employers will make it mandatory every employee must be inoculated to return to work. So is Maynard some sort of modern day Nostradamus? No, but considering how uncommon both seem in their own way it deserves to atleast be pointed out. Or did I smoke too much weed tonight. All comments are welcome
For anyone confused, this was a bass webinar with Berkeley College. Victor Wooten, Mike Inez, Steve Bailey and some others (I forgot who) were there discussing covid and touring, and Justin invited Shavo to join as a surprise. I was there and the chat went crazy! A great event for bass and music lovers.
Yay I was at that show in New Zealand where our fourth confirmed case was attending. My man chose potentially infecting thousands of people over missing the greatest band ever perform.
I was there too. Hadn't he just come in from overseas? Don't know if he knew he had anything, but yeah a bit of a bozo move. If we'd just shut the borders totally and immediately, we could have had zero cases until we know how to deal with the virus. But nobody has/had the guts for a move like that, instead they mass-quarantined every healthy person and wrecked countless lives (e.g. I know of one suicide so far - an acquaintance who had a small business, left behind a wife and daughter).

Everyone at the show was surrounded by 14,000 people at the time. Good god what an amazing show that was. It was the best they've ever played
Well, despite being amazing musicians, making possibly the greatest music I know, they're still famous hollyweirdos at the end of the day, so their perception politically is probably going to be skewed.
I rode my bike down to the Download festival in England and saw you lot there last year. Then I took the wife over to Belgium to see you at Rock Wercher. So glad we got to see you. Brilliant shows. (BTW I`m 61 :-) )

Aug 30 2021: Tool surprises fans with new album.
one second later: Taylor Swift's head spontaneously combusts.
Use this time wisely.
You have an amazing opportunity to bring the story of this challenge to song, many times.
Also, ty for adding the entire discography to Google play. I was overjoyed to purchase them all.
And great work to tool archive for keeping the fan base apprised.
Their last show in Portland, March 11, was splendorous.
I caught the feb 1st in New Orleans. Amazing ! 6th time I’ve seen them
We got to see them in Texas in January and it was really nice.!!
Thank you guys..........
Now that's a rhythm section.
Give Bonham and Jones a run for their money
I was a Danny is best drummer ever kinda guy. Bonham close behind but I’ve watched some vids regarding Bonham and IDK he might be best ever with Danny close behind. Conflicted
@@toddarmbruster9712 it's hard to compare them since bonham mostly flexed his technicality in an improv setting, while danny does it in a much more structured way. they're on a similar level for sure
Justin, we really enjoyed seeing you in Portland, and really appreciate you all sticking it out as long as you did. Cheers.
I think Danny’s voice is slowly becoming more like Alex Gray and Terrance McKenna’s...
😂😂😂😂
I think you mean Alex Grey
I hear Jesse Ventura
Probably cuase he has tripped so much
@@jimjones5394 ?
Saw them in Dallas January 24 2020! Glad they made it through!
Only TOOL can release an album with the theme of Inoculation months before a virus pandemic actually happens

Yip I was at the Auckland gig the 2nd night..it ( Covid 19) was all starting to unfold in Auckland..the first case was announced the day of the concert. Things was starting to unfold real quick!!. Then the day after we were there We herd someone in the crowd had it... Im blessed that me and my son witnessed this epic concert. It was literally the last stadium concert before the lockdown. Thank you Danny, Justin, Adam and Maynard!!
This was recorded back in april...
I was lucky to watch them for the first time back in February in New Orleans, great show
Will they be live on interview ???
I doubt it but that would be so cool!
No this is an old teleconference
There's an announced live stream for later today (Sunday) on the Cosmic Dawn channel. Forgot the exact time, check it out.
Thankful I was able to see them March 9th in Spokane. Incredible performance.
Wait, what's this? Did they already do this? Confused and drunk
they live streamed like 2 months ago this is an excerpt from it. Was a music clinic with victor wooten and other musicians
They sure did, the date stamp says 04-16-2020.
I'm confused and...Sober
dazed and confused
Hair Of The Dog!
I can’t even imagine how dark all of this is getting now but if we have to stop and look around, let’s be thankful that everyone in the band is okay.
All comments are welcome
vaccine wont come anytime soon
Scott Ballinger pass that shit over here.
Pretty good assessment. Interesting indeed
Definitely neat.
I was just thinking this last night as I was listening to FI as me and a friend were driving on the highway!!
I had 4th row in Charlotte, NC!!! I'm so happy you are all doing well. Please promise to come to, or close to Charlotte again!!
Justin in The Garden of Weeden
@@SamTheEnglishTeacher EXACTLY!! SOME people act as if trying to kill this virus off in its infancy would've just been hateful. SOME people, mind you, make zero sense AT ALL.
@@SamTheEnglishTeacher also... RIP to your acquaintance. His family left behind are in my thoughts 😢
Oh no the flu! So scary. Wear your mask. Lol. Pussies.
Some, most of those mask wearing retards need helmets in there place, the mask is as effective against any virus as a chain link fence is preventative to mosquitoes
Saw these guys at the Staples 2019 was honored to be there.🎶🎸
I was there on the first night. I’ve seen them a lot but the Staples shows were something incredible
As usual maynard is no where to be seen. However, it is really interesting to listen to them!
Anytime I need inspiration I just watch Danny play, after a few moments I'm on the kit. Tool has always been on another level for me, best live shows I've ever seen.🤯🤯
so wait ToolArchive is actually run by Tool?
Never get tired listening to this bunch.
toolarchive is tool confirmed?
I think it is.
I was at that Portland show. Halfway through the show, everyones cell phones lit up at the same time to announce that the Governor was banning all get togethers of more than 10 people. Everyone at the show was surrounded by 14,000 people at the time. Good god what an amazing show that was. It was the best they've ever played
wouldn't even be bothering with npr
Well, despite being amazing musicians, making possibly the greatest music I know, they're still famous hollyweirdos at the end of the day, so their perception politically is probably going to be skewed.
What are you talking about? NPR is decent
I was thankfully able to be at the last concert in Portland before everything got cancelled. Best concert ever
What interesting people the members of Tool are. I love listening to them talk as well as play.
Spot on, it is about the ratings. Thank you for the great music. Here's hoping you come to Phoenix, AZ.
Thank you guys for keeping intelligence and reason alive. Much respect to you and your awesome minds and work
So cool to hear them talk about building their strong structures. No wonder it took 10 years. Awesome.
I had tickets to your show in SLC I was so devastated when everything got canceled. It was the one concert I was looking forward too.
I was at the Portland show and I feel very grateful to have seen them this year. The staging was incredible.
I rode my bike down to the Download festival in England and saw you lot there last year. Then I took the wife over to Belgium to see you at Rock Wercher. So glad we got to see you. Brilliant shows. (BTW I`m 61 :-) )
Waiting around. And how much appreciated and let it out 😊🙏😇 the stuff we've never heard before. Poignant
Nobody should underestimate how unique their own voice is and how much it will be appreciated. Nurture it and let it out. [...] That's what I want to hear. I want to hear all their different voices, and all their different little quirks and characteristics. [...] Anyone learning music [...] shouldn't forget that, that there's really something magical and beautiful and unique about themselves.
First time I hear an interview with Justin. Not disappointed.
So true. That's the main reason why I sold my TV long ago...#lessstress. Keep on going guys! YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION 💪🙏☺️
