I don't think any bookshelf or desktop speaker will ever produce satisfying base anyway. So, provided I need a subwoofer, I want my desktop speaker to be as small as possible as long as they can produce decent mids and highs
Wonderful video! I know your videos are not sponsored. But I hope you can review our subwoofer without breaking the bank. More importantly, it is compatible with most receivers, bookshelf speakers, and soundbars. Pls let me know if you would like to know more.
@@sazzad_hossain.s I would like to buy a not so big pair of speakers, good looking, good sound, under 250usd. Also keeping the option of connecting my headset. I do not like Edifier because of both the size and design, I will be happy with a pair with better sound than an Echo 4th. That would be easy, I believe. Do you have any recommendations? I am considering the Kanto YU and a simple DAC (but I mean an entry level usb sound card I already own)
I think the edifiers are better, only because it deliverys quality sound without breaking your wallet ;) Kantos are great, but not yu2, unless you need to save space on your desk, maybe the yu4 would better but they also cost more
@@sazzad_hossain.s Thanks. Was wondering, if i should get an amp or dac next? I would really like to improve my music set up. Not that I play them loudly. I just love hearing layers. (or do I probably need a different set of speakers for that?)
I have what is probably the first generation soundsticks. The speakers and subwoofers are not bad at all for PC speakers. Unfortunately, when I listen to piano music, I hear a bzz bzz distortion. I do not understand why. For a very long time, I thought it comes from the recording but when I listen to the same music through headsets, I did not hear those sounds. The speakers can reproduce more complex sounds than piano but will not reproduce a piano correctly.

Excellent video. I just ordered the YU4.
mmmm thinking of going YU4 or YU6....plus subwoofer
I will be trying a used pair of yu2s. Main reason is space. Otherwise, there are better options.
Holy eff that LED is bright. Or is it just the video? Seems awkward for nighttime use.

How does it compare to the 1855? Loudness? Clarity? Mids and highs? Your opinion would be highly appreciated.
If it came with the sub they sell for this price it would be a better looking competitor to the Edifier S350DB perhaps, otherwise no.
Do you notice any hissing noise when the speakers aren’t playing anything?
Negative on the hissing noise, it was dead silent when nothing is playing :)
Thinking about getting the Kanto YU Powered Speakers, but still not sure, do you have other Kanto reviews coming?
Nothing anytime soon, what are you thinking about? 🤔

@@KamilleN16 Maybe a DAC... Amp would be good for passive speakers
@@sazzad_hossain.s thank you!

Poor speaker, sent mine back to amazon within an hour.
Don’t sound great the yu4s outperform those
