I made a base under my machine to raise it up so when I sew the cushion slides on the the top of my cutting table.Just a heads up .Only been upholstering for 30 years
I just found your channel today You are very talented I know I will enjoy your content By the way my name is Melinda I do some upholstery work on the side I think I could learn a lot from you
Very nice work. Can you tell me which Sewing machine you are using and if you purchased a replacement machine what would it be? Trying to figure out which machine to purchase. Thank you.
Nice work I have a question did you have to shave any foam off the seats before u added the high density? If you could help thank you. Also do you add string to your bolsters to make them tight or Velcro?? To hanm a lot nice work
I reduced the speed on my "JUKI" single lock stitch with a two pulley system on a jack-shaft and pillow block bearings (McMaster-Carr) but I am a service tech who fixed cars / trucks, retired and doing my own things in leather. Using large thread, smallest needle for hole size, but 4mm apart. Otherwise without modified pulleys, this runs like a weed eater at Wide Open Throttle on crack! You could sew 3' (1 meter) in 4.2 seconds. Hey, where's my fingers dude?
Nice job. You should get a Juki 1510N-7. No more turning wheel during work. No more thread trimming and much more. I've been sewing upholstery 50 yrs now and bought the 1510N-7 15 yrs ago. Wish I had it 50 yrs ago. I just bought another one to expand business.
That clutch motor is a killer, so much happier with a brushless servo.
