  • The sound of the Mercedes D.III inline 6 cylinder 180hp engine powering the Albatros D.Va at Fantasy of Flight in Auberndale, Floirda. Check out the distinctive sound, see the engine unclose and catch some cool flying clips as Kermit Weeks takes the plane out for a spin around the airfield.

A sound as beautiful as a Mozart Sonata. What I would not give to fly an Albatros!

Kermit sets a fine example of how wealth should be used. His fine collection preserves very important and interesting historical artifacts, and that their kept in flying condition makes it all the more interesting and exciting. Visiting Fantasy of Flight was the absolute highlight of my Florida holiday this year.

This a replica of course, but he does have many original planes he is restoring. I saw this plane and had a good look at her in New Zealand where it was built. The workmanship was amazing.

Kermit, that craft is gorgeous. The Albatros and the Spad are my 2 favorite WWI aircraft. Either one would be a dream come true to fly. Thanks for a great but short video.

      And 100km/h past 3000 meters

К этому фюзеляжу приделать крылья и хвостовое оперение от Bf-109,добавить гаргрот и будет неплохо.Очень обтекаемые формы для Первой Мировой войны.
