- The sound of the Mercedes D.III inline 6 cylinder 180hp engine powering the Albatros D.Va at Fantasy of Flight in Auberndale, Floirda. Check out the distinctive sound, see the engine unclose and catch some cool flying clips as Kermit Weeks takes the plane out for a spin around the airfield.

A sound as beautiful as a Mozart Sonata. What I would not give to fly an Albatros!
Kermit sets a fine example of how wealth should be used. His fine collection preserves very important and interesting historical artifacts, and that their kept in flying condition makes it all the more interesting and exciting. Visiting Fantasy of Flight was the absolute highlight of my Florida holiday this year.
This a replica of course, but he does have many original planes he is restoring. I saw this plane and had a good look at her in New Zealand where it was built. The workmanship was amazing.
Hoy, what a beautiful aerocraft, my favorite. Thanks mate.
Kermit, that craft is gorgeous. The Albatros and the Spad are my 2 favorite WWI aircraft. Either one would be a dream come true to fly. Thanks for a great but short video.
Jeeze! Some people will just fly ANYTHING! Beautiful, thanks.
Beautiful. Thanks for uploading
Sounds GREAT, thanks for sharing!
VERY GOOD AIR PLANES, BRASIL OK.
beautiful !
Espectacular el Albatros 😃👍👍.
Beautiful.
I love it! :))
I think you mean most late WWI German Fighters... if it were WWII I think the course of the war woul;d have been a wee bit different!! :P
This looks like a baby bf109!
Your kind of right when you campare the noses
True pilots great old days
how and where can one get rated to fly one of those? I'm sure there's no shortage of pilots that are rated and willing to fly one of those,,,,well the 150 will have to do for now.
It sounds like an old Allis d17 tractor I had. Lol
"Floirda"?
can it do 200 km/h?
I don't think so
Nope!
It goes about 150km/h at 2000m,with 170km/h at sea level
And 100km/h past 3000 meters
@@moldovanbeniamin1578 100 kmh airspeed or Total speed at 3000 meters? what engine hp? btw thanks for responding after so long :D
К этому фюзеляжу приделать крылья и хвостовое оперение от Bf-109,добавить гаргрот и будет неплохо.Очень обтекаемые формы для Первой Мировой войны.
