    Those are called baseboard heaters. They run along the baseboards. I think that’s going to cost you a bunch to dump. Yes! Maximize your profits! I’m glad you do that! You wouldn’t believe how many “junkers” , that’s what I call them, do junk metal for their money, and don’t take nothing apart. Crazy. I do and do scrap metal for extra money only. I drive a truck for a living. Great video young man

    Couple things I like to do when loading the dump trailer….no big dead spaces and nails down on the top of the load so the mesh tarp doesn’t get hung up

    The long piece of metal is part of a forced water baseboard system. Usually there will be a water boiler somewhere in the house , generally the basement. These units run along the baseboard in each room in a loop circulating warm water to heat a room. They are made of a copper pipe with aluminum fins and a metal shell . A good score

    Dude! I worry about you walking the walls of that trailer. If you fall and get hurt you lose too much money. Gotta find a better way to tarp. My MaxxD trailer has an aluminum tube that runs across the width and that’s easy to lift and lock in.

    The sinks you threw away at the dump are worth money they a most of the time brass and an aluminum called pop metal. The scrap yard should give you dirty brass also the base board heaters usually have an aluminumn copper radiator in them same thing an air conditoner has. so defenitely worth taking them apart.

    • @JackofHaulTrades

    I bet you that sink is stainless steel. Take your grinder to it and hit a spot on that sink. If it sparks it’s stainless if it doesn’t then it’s aluminum. But those are rarely aluminum.

    Random question
    If you're helping your brother in law by (I'm assuming) charing less than your going rate, why didn't he move the car so you would have to work less?
    The trailer looks to be about 10 feet away, it could've been almost right inside the garage, it would've been much easier and less labor

    • @JackofHaulTrades
      @JackofHaulTrades  Месяц назад
