My great aunt worked in customer support and used 3 foot pedals. One to mute the mic, one to place people on hold, and one to accept calls. Apparently this made everything way easier for her.
Foot pedals are very useful in speedrunning, for Livesplit. Especially if your hands are very busy and you're focused on the gameplay, a foot pedal is perfect for splitting.
that tutorial for the ignition switch would be really nice! i'm building a pc tomorrow and it's kind of a wall mount 4000x, i'm not sure how i'm gonna do that but i'll find out, and well wall mount pc's need some kind of external power switch. would be really nice if you also give an amazon link to a dupont wire!
I used to own one of those computer case carriers, back when I owned a Thermaltake Xaser III V2420A , which weighs in at 23.2 lbs/10.5 Kgs without any hardware in it! Was worth every single penny for LAN Parties!
you could use the foot pedal to swap between apps or the tabs you have open in the app for faster productivity.... or like you said when your boss comes by.
step 1. driill hole in case the size of the switch threads. step 2, insert and wire switch step 3, plug into board and turn on. so easy, no tutorial needed.
The Amazon listing for the UPS states that is can only provide 255W of power. A lot of gaming PC-s nowadays can draw more power than that under load, so what would probably happen is that, the ups would detect the overcurrent and turn off, giving the same effect as if you unplugged it
There are tons of UPS that are dart cheap and offer upto 600W of power delivery with 15-30 minutes of backup time. The one I'm talking about is 1200VA unit in particular but within other price ranges you can get 400VA, 650 VA, 850 VA, 1200VA, 1500VA, 2000VA with power delivery upto 1200W. That is crazy and not a whole lot of money to save your thousands of dollar machine also while getting a little time to back up your work data during a power outage. Imagine updating bios without an UPS with faulty electric line or during electric outage. Good luck with that.
Oddly enough old 80s and 90s computers would come standard with those locks. So that kind of thing all though not really used in computers any more it used to be standard on old computers when I was a kid.
SSD prices are on the way back up because they've literally cut production in half. Better buy one soon if you need an upgrade. I just added another 1TB SATA drive to my PC. I now have 1TB of NVMe storage and 2TB SATA SSD storage, which feels like the right amount for a gaming PC in 2024. The keyswitch should include a small sound module and speaker so it makes an engine startup sound when you switch your PC on. It is tacky and you might as well go all in.
Hey, I am sure that a lot of people have told you to use a dedicated professional mic for voiceovers, but what I would suggest is , since you are comfortable with a headset, maybe consider using razer blackshark v2 pro 2023, best wireless mic on the market rn.
I have a unhealthy obsession with Losslesscut an Shotcut since I watch a lot of cartoons an must have cuts ready for later never know when you'll use them
Hi! Thanks for the video! I was actually thinking already on the power switch, but I would use it for replacing my psu's switch. (I'm planning to make Fallout thematic costume pc case)
Nobody remember the old stinky board? It's basically a foot d pad which could be mapped for games. Also there's the 8bitdo retro keyboard with up to 8 foot buttons with macro support.
The flight simulators at my college use a key like that to turn on the computers Only difference is that they run windows 7 with software on a 1995 copyright
Nobody noticed all the scratches on the smart glass panel? And that somehow looks better than glass? Plus you'd see the wiring hanging down inside it :/
i went stupid with my UPS. I hit up Ebay for a rack mount.. replaced the battery. Works like a charm. powers my Server, my networking gear, my main desktop and 1 monitor... anything else and it go HA HA NO... might need a 2nd lol
I need your help I saw your video on you deleting system 32 can you help me get it back i dont know what to do for windows 10 please and can you @ me in it so I can see it. Please and thank you! :)
oh i should probably clarify. that fps boost is when using low game settings. at higher settings it's not really that noticeable. so it's mostly useful for esport games.
While DRAMless Nvme is fine if your motherboard supports memory sharing, it may be better to get a DRAM SSD. Especially for a SATA or portable Nvme drive.

Happy foot gran gran

I had the thermal take carrier as well for my older LAN PC. Was nice with the shoulder strap.

The momentary switch seems like an idea that was borrowed from the early PC locks way back when on Computers of the Stone Age.
you could use the foot pedal to swap between apps or the tabs you have open in the app for faster productivity.... or like you said when your boss comes by.
I'd like to see a full install of that key switch!
Drill hole to size, solder to front panel wires
I would love to see that put into a case, especially in old time beige box lol
7:58 a digital clutch pedal if you dont have that normally
Always fun toys mryeester. Thanks for the review!
I'd love a tutorial for the key ignition switch!
I like that key "power button" i will integrate it into my custom made wood case (laser cut) 😍but covering heat sinks...no never cooling goes to hell
Love these types of upgrades, who doesn't want a ridiculous computer?!
If you have a custom PC case in a car theme that key ignition power switch would be cool
the keyswitch is actually good if you have cats that like to step on the case power button, turning off your PC.
the UPS battery also works for wifi routers!
Please do show an install of the key ignition. That thing is so cool!
7:05 "typical keyboard" that thing was huge
Can you please make a tutorial for how to install that pc car ignition power thingy?
That would be nice.
step 1. driill hole in case the size of the switch threads.
step 2, insert and wire switch
step 3, plug into board and turn on.
so easy, no tutorial needed.
A standard car ignition is a momentary switch if you wire it correctly.

well, the one on the video is 400VA, so 400 watts not 255

my man you dont gotta remind me of that one hyperx ramstick i had years ago that i overheated daily

just keep everything in theme

I wanted something like the UPS only, thx. Tbh UPS's should kinda be integrated right into normal PSU's only.
its too big to even fit into a normal PSU.
-_-

Make a video on the key ignition powet switch
What voltage does the smart plastic windows use? Does the PSU say 30 to 70 or so volts AC like the bare panels use or some 5 or 12 volts dc?
9:28 its unheard of people not having ups with thare computer in my contry and also ever crt tv had a ups
That key switch would work great on an arcade cabinet.
I love the idea of the foot switch, but my cats would press it all the time.

thats not an ignition switch, it's a slot machine handpay reset/attendant menu switch to access the attendant menu.
Some older alarm systems used them too
Interesting fact: 911 operators use foot pedals as push to talk buttons.
Foot pedals are good for transcribing, or you could use it as a piano pedal.
