  • The Imaan of the Parents of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ?
    Shaykh Asrar vs assim al hakeem
    Imam Jalal ud-Din as-Suyuti ash-Shafi'i al-Ash'ari ash-Shadhili رحمه الله penned seven works defending the parents of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم
    In his Dibaj `ala Sahih Muslim (3:47) as-Suyuti numbered at seven the works that he wrote defending the parents of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم.
    The following are all in print:
    1. al-Duruj al-Munifa fil-Aba’ al-Sharifa (“The Outstanding Entries Regarding the Noble Ancestors [of the Prophet]“);
    2-3. al-Fawa’id al-Kamina fi Iman al-Sayyida Amina wal-Ta`zim wal-Minna fi anna Abaway Rasulillah fil-Janna (“The Treasured Benefits Regarding the Muslim Belief of the Lady Amina [bint Wahb] and the Laudatory Gift That the Prophet’s Parents are in Paradise”);
    4. al-Maqamat al-Sundusiyya fil-Nisbat al-Mustafawiyya (“The Resplendent Stations Concerning the Prophetic Lineage”);
    5. Masalik al-Hunafa fi Waliday al-Mustafa (“Methods of Those With Pure Belief Concerning the Two Parents of the Prophet”) translated in the Encyclopedia of Islamic Doctrine (2:143-159);
    6. Nashr al-`Ilmayn al-Munifayn fi Ihya’ al-Abawayn al-Sharifayn (The Proclamation of the Two Lofty Knowledges Regarding the Resuscitation of the Prophet’s Two Parents);
    7. al-Subul al-Jaliyya fil-Aba’ al-`Aliyya (The Manifest Paths on the Lofty Ancestors [of the Prophet]), epitomized by Shaykh Yusuf al-Nabhani in Hujjat Allah `alal-`Alamin (p. 413-421).
    May Allah send peace and blessings upon the Prophet and his Parents.

    Sheikh Asrar is being quiet obtuse and he's opposing which is straight forward and to the point just to prove that his cult is on the haq. For those who think he's right or have any doubts just check the hadith in Bukhari 7084 you'll get it it's not about Prophet's ﷺ father or mother it's about the end times and what shall we do when such confusion and fitna start prevailing amongst us Muslims.

      Watch the full video. Sheikh asrar uses chains of narrations and explains everything perfectly and also points out the additions. Unlike wahhabi scholars who just say things without proof

      @ZIRAEL517 The evidence that the Prophet's parents were believers is too overwhelming. The hadith in Muslim uses the word, "Ab," which can mean both father and uncle. In fact the Quran itself uses the word ab to refer to uncle in surah baqarah verse 133. A lot ot tafsirs also say that azar is the uncle of hazrat Ibrahim and his actual father is turakh, even though the Quran uses the word Ab for azrar. Plus there is a hadith in sahih Muslim that the uncle is like the father, so in the hadith the Prophet was talking about his uncle when he says the word, "Ab". The Prophet S.a.w could not have been talking about his father because it is reported in Bukhari (and there are similar hadith in tirmidhi and musnad Imam Ahmad) that the Prophet's ancestors were the best people in every generation, and the best people in every generation cannot be kafir. Also Asrar Rashid explains how even though the hadith is sahih, the words that the Prophet saw's Ab is in hellfire is probably an addition.
      Plus the Quran says that Allah does not punish a people without sending them a warner, and there was no Prophet that came to warn the parents of our beloved Prophet. Hadith cannot contradict the Quran. There's also a sahih hadith in mustadrak al hakim in which The Prophet saw says that he has been passed down from pure wombs, and the Quran says that the polytheists and idolators are najis: impure (Al mushrikina najisun is the aya)

      @@vol94 I understand that it's hard to agree, and when I first heard that hadith then I was being quiet sceptical as well, but the sources were genuine so I believed on what is apparent, Muslim (976) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I asked my Lord for permission to pray for forgiveness for my mother, but He did not give me permission. And I asked Him for permission to visit her grave, and He gave me permission.”
      On a side note here, I personally believe that topics like these have no benefit for us Muslims whatsoever, rather such videos and people debating on such topics are causing disunity amongst the Ummah, leave them as it is for it's not beneficial in this worldly life nor it's an act of religious obligation as Allah said in the Qur'an.
      Al-An'am 6:164
      English - Sahih International
      Say, "Is it other than Allāh I should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ."
