Hi, yes that was the River Tyne below the infamous Scotswood Road, its all landscaped into a riverside walk now from its heavy industrial past. Glad your enjoying the channel, lots more to come soon hopefully. Best wishes Jon
Great to watch your presentations John! The weather is pretty poor really, and your comments go beyond just what a problem it really is ! We could have been happed up with snow - problems for shepherds up on the hill! Arable land is quite sodden and close to where I live, my neighbours can’t get Spring corn sown and potatoes planted! Could create serious problems for shortages later on in the year! It doesn’t rain, but what, it hoys it down, plus a wild wind! Get some lead soles on your boots! Great stories and an interesting walk along the river! Thanks!
