There's an unemployed homeless guy in Chongqing who was fired from the Kove manufacturing plant. The last thing they said to him before they fired him was "You only had one job..." His title used to be "make oil level sight glass in motorbike crank case"
Thanks for the video. Looks like a lot of work for an oil change. I'm at 600 Mi and probably a little past due for my first one first one. Probably gets easier the second time around.
It took me about 2 hours the first time, but I'm pretty confident it can be done in 30 minutes or less with all the tools on hand. I forgot to mention but I spent a good bit of that time looking for a magnet to take the filter out and messing with the exhaust springs.
@@silverhill377 I did this change at ~100 miles. Right now I have 106 mi on my speedo ICO and 101 mi on my GPS ICO. Doing 100 miles of racing this weekend.
@@runeadv4888did my oil change today on my standard High seat version. The Standard Version does not have exhaust Springs. Definitely one less step and a little easier. I went with 1.8 L of oil. Have not done the zip tie check test yet. Not even sure what that is. If someone else out there knows let me know please. Thank you also did a fresh aftermarket air filter. Funnel-web filter made by Proline. It's the same filter for a KTM Rally 2012 through 2017 or a husky
There isn't one, there's a timestamp for Checking oil - 25:21-27:55. You have to gauge it. KOVE USA also has a technical video posted showing how to make a zip tie and how to check the level. www.kovemoto-usa.com/downloads There has been some info on people making weep holes by drilling the case that looked promising and there is rumor the GPX450 case that has a sight glass will fit.
THank you for the video! I think I'll put copper grease on my exhaust when times comes so it's easier to get it loose
Thanks for the video! I've done 5 or so oil changes on my Kove std. They are very easy once you get used to it.

Hi, why you used a 10W-40 engine oil? Should be 10W-50.
Please add oil filter link and name/id.
Couldn't find it in your vid or the manual.
Where is oil window to check the oil level?

Why plastics and decal from 450 Kove rally looks always very bad , dirty and ugly?
because Kove riders actually off-road their bikes 🤣
