I didn't mention the Helldivers situation because we made the video a bit more in advance than normal (normally it's made on Saturday), simply because the regular editor is on a holiday break. I was also on the road this Saturday for a fun masterclass for new upcoming creators. So expect my thoughts next week when we hopefully have some sort of solution for this pretty big blunder.

Instead of remaking zero dawn, why not put that effort towards making the third game? PS5 has been making mostly remasters and remakes this generation.

@@daysgone2997Dead space and Resident evil remake are of games 15+ years old Horizon Zero Dawn is just over 6 years old went to PC under 4 years ago and was graphically good for the PS4 generation. You have to be a fanboy of Sony to truly believe that Horizon Zero Dawn needs a remake.

Haha I don't think Aloy will be playable in it. Similar to how Jin was not in Legends, probably because these characters will only have a few of Aloy's powers. But yeah will totally play with you!

I don't think I'd heard about a HZD remaster or remake before, so that's very exciting! One of my favorite games, I love the story of HZD. HFW is also up there, probably the best looking game that I've personally played. To me, HFW surpassed HZD in nearly every respect, except the story. So if there's a chance I can replay HZD with some HFW-level visuals (especially the NPC dialogs, like you pointed out), that'd be so amazing. Not sure what else beyond visuals and performance they could update. Not sure if they would completely revamp combat, for example, to be like HFW. Some new outfits and weapons would be nice. Hopefully it releases with a steelbook case option, I love those. Never got a HZD one but I do have the HFW one.

am wondering if they will offer that HZD Remake on PC and for how much cause i already own both games and i don't think that's Square's only problem but also the fact that they made the last 2 games PS5 Exclusive and those PC/Xbox Users who were hyped for those games recognized that they are not comming to those platforms and by the time they come it be years and by that time the hyped would be gone so very few would buy them if at all
forbidden west wasn't ps5 exclusive, given it was on the ps4 too. the dlc wasn't on ps5, however, same with FF7R part 1.
the problem with horizon 1 is after the hoovering tool in the sequal i couldnt play the first 1 again... so they need to add that in the first game aswell.
Love Horizon games. Remastered Zero Dawn is somewhat appealing but looking forward to Part 3 (if it ever comes out).

Re: cartoon art for Horizon Multi-player. It's not for adults. It's to introduce Horizon to your kids and your younger brothers and sisters now playing Fortnite. When you outgrow Fortnite, makes sense to move to Horizon which is similarly upbeat, hopeful with a principaled lead character; and, morally unobjectionable.

The Zero Dawn mount is a Broadhead, sadly not carried over into Forbidden West. Hope they reappear in the third game.
That's the Broadhead. They're just basically Striders but with horns. They were really lame and boring, as were a couple other Zero Dawn machines.

I don't know if it is relevant but after what you said it about games getting taken down it sticks out. Resident Evil code veronica was taken down from the playstation store. At least to purchase anyways. Maybe that implies something.

This is why Console exclusives are not sustainable with the massive budgets for these AAA games. If you don't give access to 75 percent of your market, you will struggle to recoup that money and the workers suffer because they get fired when it's not their fault, so the company can save money and continue paying the higher-ups exorbitant salaries.

i think SE's problem is more, spending too much money on these big titles that they need to be like, the marvel superhero movies level of successful.
xbox actually did good by buying a bunch of different studios to expand their selection with - but also fucked up pretty recently by closing down some of those studios, one of which was responsible for the successful hi fi rush game, in favor of keeping 343's can't make a good game ass studio going - basically, hopefully the opposite move SE's doing.

FFXV and FFVII:Remake had pretty substantial boost to sales once they released on PC/Xbox. If you exclude half of market, dont cry you´re missing those sales.

I went back to playing starfield yesterday after 3/4 months passed. It still has bugs, like not being able to dock, doors won't open, the floor in the ship disappeared & I fell under the ship & got stuck...I'm not hyped about any of these 2024 games being released..Sony need to release another "days gone part 2" hell Ill even take another"prototype 3" game or "Kane & Lynch" & "army of two"

Best thing for square would be to get bought by sony and be a playstation studio but yeah they should cut the silly little games and online services and focus on their big franchises. I loved ff7 rebith and ff16 but in technical aspect they werent on par with grreat ps5 exclusives.Would love to see a nrxt gen kh4 on ps5 and a ff game that is build with playstation studios help

Horizon: Zero Dawn has needed a remaster ever since it came out. The forced motion blur made the game unplayable for a lot of people. It caused me physical pain to play, giving me massive headaches and eye soreness. I battled through it though because I liked the game so much, but I can't remember any of it because all I recall is how much pain it caused me. Therefore it's the worst game I've ever played, as no other game has caused me physical pain.
Sony's PS Store trickery won't work on me...If it never gets a 50%+ discount, then I will never play it. Plain & simple.
i think the SE backtrack could be a good thing - they might've decided to back off that whole 'more is better' approach to making these big ass, expensive as hell 'blockbuster' games, with ff7r part 2 not doing goo, which imo could be a good thing, as long as they also don't just, cut out dozens of smaller games or something. back off a bit from spending like 100 mil+ on a game, and you might be on track
flipside, xbox seems to be fucking up by closing some studios that made some decent games (hi fi rush is one of the more successful lower end titles as of late, and their earlier games were great, as well), yet they're keeping 343 despite the fact they've fucked up for the past few games, just because it's the 'halo' franchise. maybe, just maybe, either 'fuck halo', or at least give it to someone else, and keep a studio that does good work.

HZD does need a remaster, it was originally released in 2017 - a long time in gaming history - and it would be great if they redo the cut scenes as well as tweaks for game generally.. but the original is def looking its age now, FPS upgrade notwithstanding.. good news if remaster coming.. **so long as its not like RDR

assasins creed mirage is the worst assisns creed i have ever played, ironically valhalla was absolutely one of the best i played... i hope the new acreed, will be more open world and free to decide how to you missions like valhalla

Yeah because the games that are popular on mobile like Genshin impact, clash of clans that free to play model is so not full of 100+ dollar microtransactions tided to the fun of the game. I would take 50 dollar decent games on mobiles rather than microtransaction heavy free to play cash grabs. If mirage if worth 50 on a console it should be worth it on the mobile, you take away that 50 you then force them to add microtransactions built into the game that shouldn't be their.

Jor mate helldiver 2 is dying thanks to sony DEMANDING pc players to make a PSN and link their steam to PSN if they want to play Helldiver 2 and if you check steam you see it's gone from positive to mixed well on it's way to becoming negative helldiver 2 could have been a profit game but sony fucked up.
