Regardless of the amount of time you commit to social media, I sure appreciate your youtube updates, thank you Great to see it split down, taking your comments, you seemed genuinely surprised too Take care all Geoff
I’d recommend trying an Albutt shear grab, we have two of them and a quickie between the three farms and the Albutts are way superior! Also think NC is worth a look.
Great video. A vice grip and stilson wrench doesn’t look good on the anything but especially on a demo machine… ask Santa for a set of combination spanners or get yourself a set at the MF Dealer when you collect the 8S and send the bill to Santa (aka Jessica). The new GPS screen looks the business. You know and we know that you’re going to buy the Siloking (& the Quicke Sheargrab)… why not they’re both progress and anyway it’s a tradition at this stage… get a demo, realise the benefit of the upgrade... and sensibly let yourself buy it. Keep up the good work.
Did you only milk once in that week? I'm not trying to be funny or anything but how come dairy farmers do so little milking, my question is if they were milking 7 days a week twice a day do you think more of them would be going out of milk, you certainly do a good job of running a business Andrew you know your costs and where you're making money, I think many of us myself included spend too much time farming and not enough actually running a business at times, my other question is what would you do without your dad he seems to work hard fair play to him
Probably do 2-3 milkings a week. Reason I do so few is because it's the easiest job to hire someone for. My time is then used for the things I can't get help with, for example the business stuff and electronics

I was really surprised. 🤣 I was telling people social media was taking me 6 hours a week.
Ask santa for a set of spanners watching you putting them hyd fittings on with a stelson and vice grips is making me cringe.
don't you know ? the Vice Grips is every mans tool
It's always a surprise when it squrits like that when u least expect it 😂😂. Keep up the good work
One line I was told once… the busiest man I know works for free…. Time measurement is a good way to reflect on what’s wasted and what’s invested.
Considering the average work week in the UK is around 36 hours, 70 is like working 2 full time jobs.
Yeah, it feels like it but I do enjoy everything I do.
Excellent video as always 👍

thats a handy way to feed the calves with the pig feeder, havent seen them in years

Go in halfway with the sheargrab and cut then full depth , the block falls apart easier and is gentler on the mixer wagon
That's exactly what I'm now doing, it's a nice grab but I like the Johnston's dimensions better
For slurry flow rate, do you use a flow meter or is it a pressure derived flow?
Another great video, Andrew, but get those spoutings cleaned out🙄
Yes boss. 🤣 I must add that in next week's video. 😅
Why do you have a random door half way up the wall in your electronic making room ?
Thanks for your efforts on this random video 😊
Often wondered what's behind it too.😱😱
That's the plant room for the parlour. 😅

As of a few days ago, yes. 😅 My son loves it and makes me play with him.
@@FarmTheoryNI haha nice, waiting for my little one to be of age to play with him as well.
Waiting for him to discover the magical world of straights instead of cakes.
