they should've added everything, the dualsense edge, the vertical stand, and the disc drive, All these things alone would be around 800 dollars. The ps5 "pro" should've been 50-60 dollars more than the normal og ps5 minimum. You could get the slim and still have almost the same specs besides graphics and storage and the other advanced stuff. Another thing is that you could just wait for the ps6, if you have a ps5 slim or normal this upgrade is definitely not worth it.

The new upscaler is mostly good. Not as good as DLSS, but better than FSR. Usually. There's actually some games that look WORSE with the new upscaling, and some reversed their updates to go back to whatever standard upscaling they used. But in general, it is better. Also, I find it kind of weird to sell a pro model on slightly better upscaling tech rather than on using less upscaling. It's good that they made a better method, but I'd rather not need to use it. The RT performance is notably better. So, the 4 games that use RT should run and look a bit better, which is good, I guess. I don't know. Of course, the Pro is superior to the base model. But is it $300 superior? You could almost buy a whole other digital PS5 for that price difference. It's pretty nuts to go from $400 to $700 in the same generation. And I can't help but feel that this particular pro model doesn't seem as large of an upgrade as previous pro models were. And has a much larger price difference. It's a cool console. Just questionable value to me. Getting up to near $1000 for a whole console package just sounds insane. At those prices might as well save up a little more and get a more capable PC.
If it ever be launched in my country, that console would be priced at more than a 1k bucks, + disc drive which is now priced at $200(they seriously took advantage of it).
