I love the brown, earthy tones. Especially in cabinetry, and i love open beams and wood trim stained in darker colors. Lol yes I also had that dark, burgundy accent wall behind my bed in the early 2000's! Also with my bedding, but it really was beautiful! Wall papered ceilings are beautiful! Or at least painted darker. I love mixing metals, and i like collecting brass, copper and silver. I do love collecting antiques, of all kinds.. decor and furniture! I would much rather shop in antique shops or thrift stores than big box stores. Truly enjoyed today's video!!❤

Hahah yes! I had bright red in my entryway and eggplant in the main bedroom. Those days when color was everywhere! 🤣

Yes! And my living room and hallway were sage green, and at another home we had a dark wine/purple accent wall in the bedroom.. A golden mustardy color in the kitchen and my sons bathroom was a blueish teal. I'm telling you I've been thru some colors in the different homes i lived in! But it was so much fun😁

Thanks for doing all the research! The pictures you added are perfect and illustrate these trends for me. I love the richer moody colors. I hope to try the mural idea as an accent wall in my bedroom, just like the picture you added. Not into the chrome metal yet ( maybe when I start to see it around more, I’ll convert😂)

Ahhh…such a personal touch! Do share when you do it! You know at first I felt that way about chrome but as I think about more, there are so many ways it can be mixed so I can see the potential. ❤️❤️❤️
