6:17 That is a taxi designated spot! The car was trying to park somewhere he's not allowed, so the taxi was only defending his right to be there to pick up passengers.
That one is still on the market... and there's a few units available too, they all have these weird open bathrooms. Not listed, but a friend had a place there and his had an open shower but not the stupid tub,
No it isn't. Have a nice soak, steep out, towel off and into the jam-jams and fall not bed. What could be better? Bathing is a luxury not a bathroom duty. Much more sensuous the bedroom !
Thanks for the heads up, I rushed into checking this one out for the open house, didn't get as far as the details part of it 🤙 but if i did... now i know the people got my back ✌🙏
love love love lofts! Hard lofts is what gets you exposed everything and is usually in an old building that use to be a factory or something else while ago but renovated which gives them more value and uniqueness which also makes them more expensive. Soft lofts give you few things exposed and higher ceilings, usually in newer buildings, some in older ones.
I made it my dream to live in Vancouver or somewhere nearby since watching your videos years ago, I got an internship and lived in Surrey for 9 months and the island for 3, I was downtown Vancouver practically everyday after work and I loved checking out all the places you recommended, I’m back home in Edmonton now and I wanted to thank you for inspiring me in the first place to move :) now I have a lot of friends in the lower mainland and am welcomed back anytime
@@AdamJBell Can't you just make up scenarios? :D But being honest about it. I think it would fit your humor/content quite well if you go pretend apartment hunting for your cottage core loving hipster friend or whatever :D And then show apartments that fit a certain aesthetic like lofts in this case. I just want to see more of these videos haha But of course only if it's not also extra trouble for the realtors who show you around. But on the other hand they could get some exposure and you're also sitting right at the source 🤷♀
The first place would be what they call a "soft loft", usually a newer build that have a loft style layout, the industrial conversion would be called "hard loft". Good luck on the search, was looking for a loft back in 2011 but ended buying a regular condo as it was a good deal and a better investment for a first home.
We made offers on 5 places before we got our one bedroom 850sq feet in Langley. Paid 353, now up to 430. Only been here 4 years. New skytrain is walking distance. Lots of construction with them building new in our area, but only going to help with our home value we hope. Was built in 1990.
Interested in this series. Wondering what apps you use to scan for new listings? Currently using Zillow but the sqft cutoff is 500 or 750 which doesn't capture the 600-700 range I'm interested in.
Thanks Eric, may just be the start of a good one 🤞Personally, to scan in a broad sense, i use home spotter. And then when I want more details I use the Realtor MLS, Multiple Listing Service. I usually put my clients onto home spotter, and when they need more details they tell me to get to work 🤣
I was raised in the country(rural area), and the idea of 500 sq ft being half a million is crazy idea to me. In the countryside where I used to live, that would get you like a 4000 sq ft mansion 😅
Ima ask a stupid question, is this Vancouver in Canada or Vancouver Washington, asking cause ive never been to either, was trying to look at the cars license plates to see but i couldnt really tell. But if im guessing its canada
I currently live in Vancouver, and make decent money. But I'm trying to decide if 700k for a studio is worth it, or if I should move to another city. Such a though choice. (I also need a remote setup like you for work, desk, monitors and all).
Everyone have to realize that there is a lot of construction in Vancouver now. But one thing I would recommend is to buy a place near West broadway. As there will be transit lane running to UBC on broadway.
poeple gotta realize when a loft is 600k not worth it at that price don't think its gonna increase in value over time plus the interest your gonna be paying over a million for that all said and done ...... better to rent and invest
Yup totally depends on the right place. It's not as simple as it once was where you can "buy anything and you'll make it back for sure". Not the case. Truly none of these would be fantastic, some may make you the money if you hold until the right time before too old, BUT thats the risk with RE these days
EPISODE 2 Now Live on the Channel 💛🏡
Over half a million for a big room 💀 Society is cooked
Nope just welcome to Vancouver haha

This here is why context is important.
@@rudalsxv unsafe neighbourhood. mad up my mind u can't change me🫡

I was actually eyeing that Gastown loft listing awhile back-so it's nice to get an actual tour here!
haha perfect then!
The quality of these videos is *chefs kiss*
Bath tub next to the bed is just next level weird!

Hey Adam! Just as a heads up, I believe that place that you saw in Mount Pleasant is cheaper because it's known to be a leaky condo.
Thanks for the heads up, I rushed into checking this one out for the open house, didn't get as far as the details part of it 🤙 but if i did... now i know the people got my back ✌🙏
I want a loft so much!!!!! Adam I think you should make a giveaway for your subscribers before you buy one for you 😀
100k giveaway, a whole house 😅
No useless filler, but simply a great pov video, well done!
love love love lofts!

Some of these were simply studio apartments not lofts. Lofts are gonna have a mezzanine or partial floor above the main floor
will forever be team mount pleasant 🫡
Space is definitely important, but good natural light is a must have too!
fire video homie. need part 2 asap
totally agreed! I didn't go crazy for any of those apartments haha, best of luck with the next hunting!

i love apartment hunting videos, you should uppload more of them haha
agreed
i do them every time i can, without faking it... cuz does it really count if I actually have no intent to search.. ?😂

Awesome video Adam! Glad you didn't get hit by that truck!
Great video and great storytelling man! Hope I can combine my passions (real estate + being a creator) like you one day!
well, i'm still tryna figure it out every day tbh 😂appreciate you!

As someone who hopes to buy in Vancouver in about 5 years, this is so interesting!
I like this video so much. Wanna see more vids like this one. Good job Adam
working on part 2!
Great video man, your production has really made a big step up 💪
❤
killer editing as always
appreciate that Mike, just tryna do a lil bit better each time 🤞

Underrated, get this man to a million now.
got my eyes on that silver plaque first 🤩
This is the best video you have produced. Nice work bud! PS, if you need an realtor in Vancouver this guy is the best!
🙏💛
I love the idea of a loft apartment, any suggestions for the best way to search for lofts?
lets go Adam , love your energy , If you're in North Hollywood , Ill show you my recent loft !
u got it 😎
688K FOR THAT?!
Love this video!
LOFT FTW!
been in the building of the second loft and it was super cool
Cheer~~~a room or space directly under the roof of a house or other building, which may be used for accommodations or storage.😊
Isn't that third apartment (on 8th between cambie and yukon) in Fairview and not in Kits?
wait... its on the east side of cambie so its actually mount pleasant lol
The editing is majestic
6:10 that 3rd unit was definitely not kits, and forget wendy's mr. japanese curry is there!

That bubly do be hittin ha. And ye i'de def keep lookin. That first one is nice but only if that office space was more easily accessible.
bubly gettin me through the tough days 🙏
agreed ^ since then I've seen similar units in the building add a rolling staircase so it isn't as much work
Koret has like three spots available, including the one you looked at still, something mal going on there...
I was raised in the country(rural area), and the idea of 500 sq ft being half a million is crazy idea to me. In the countryside where I used to live, that would get you like a 4000 sq ft mansion 😅
That first apartment being 600k+ and not able to fit a cali king bed is a sign of the apocalypse.
what camera do you use?
The best one was the last. But i think they are all to expensive.
Is this that expensive because it's Vancouver or because of Canada? Really don't know, I'm from Belgium. Curious about this.
Looking forward to more loft hunting videos in van
Woah 3:13 to 3:14 is where the Twice Likey MV shoots.
Why didn't you look at anything near main and hastings? It's the crown jewel of Vancouver.
My friend bought a unit where the first loft was located. Originally it sold for 99k
Ima ask a stupid question, is this Vancouver in Canada or Vancouver Washington, asking cause ive never been to either, was trying to look at the cars license plates to see but i couldnt really tell. But if im guessing its canada
7:44 you looked exactly like Ben Morris OMG
I'm in love with the subtitle font omg
In my opinion the first one is the one to go with

Loft search should be a regular series until you buy. Bonus likes if you tour The Waterfall Building in kits.
ya know... you may just be onto something 🤝
I liked the Mount Pleasant one ... but no office space.
What is offer day?
Hey, I watched a couple of your videos and noticed that you guys don’t mention or calculate the HOA fees! Great videos though.
taxi driver trying to take that spot is wild
confirmed dangerous neighbourhood
Why does some of the footage look so foggy?
Wait I'm so confused, I thought you won the coin toss and were staying in your old place? Didn't you just kick your roommate out? 😂
Are these cad or usd prices?
I'm assuming all the money was in cad not usd
I too love to live in loft condo with two level but they quite pricey now
eyyyyyy i love this vid! greetings from port moody
next ep in the works!! appreciate the support from moody 🤙
The Wendy loft is not designed correctly IMO. Make the kitchen the bedroom and build a galley kitchen along the wall.
You can get a mansion where I live for this kind of money, like 5000+ square feet
Great video
OMG...Adam it totally looks like you walked into that truck 😱... That was super scary.
editing tricks 😉
last loft gets my vote 😌
Duuude that third place is not in Kits.
more content!!! love it
next ep in the works!!
Where I live 500k can get you an insanely gorgeous home with acres (NB) However almost none of us can afford it because no jobs lol.
Come on Taxi Driver, you better then this!! Very nice vid Adam. Do you deal in such condos?
Actually just helped someone secure a very similar one to the second one in this video!
Taxi driver has no mercy
hey nice video adam
Hey MattMort, thank you friend
More apartment videos. And yikes these places are so tiny.
Fairview Slopes is not Kitsilano 🙃
.33 seconds scared me so bad 😮😮
did you put a pro res log on ur video and forgot to color grade it or?? why is ur video so color wash lol
As much as I enjoyed the video, I had to laugh at the thumbnail. There's no place anywhere in Vancouver that has that view! 😂
These prices are fuuuuucked.
People in the comments being shocked by Vancouver housing prices is just hilarious to see as a Vancouverite lmfao
I am watching this from Toronto, knowing nothing about Vancouver lol
I'd be saying, Why'd that taxi make me choose violence?
2nd spot is nice but surrounded by fent zombies
You're kidding me? 18 ft ceiling? I can put in another floating floor or extend the second floor out a bit more to make a desk space.
6:15 😀🤣
Kinda sus that you work in real estate, but don't know your Vancouver neighbourhoods. That 3rd loft is far from being in Kits. That was Fairview.
Exactly bro 😂
Everyone have to realize that there is a lot of construction in Vancouver now. But one thing I would recommend is to buy a place near West broadway. As there will be transit lane running to UBC on broadway.
you kinda look like the professor from money heist while you're in gas town haha
put on your sunscreen adam
are you my girlfriend? 😅
I can’t tell if this Is Washington Or Canada But it looks like Washington
Deron Throughway
2700 for what is probably a 700 sq. ft. pad? yikes! 😮
