Yepp. I feel you on this. I really like making small games becasue I enjoy coding. The problem is that I have a nice idea, i get all excited, start coding then want to create some basic sprites and I spend like 8 hours to create a few really basic looking drawings. By the end of it I am not even motivated to continue coding so I just drop the idea. (1. No I don’t want to hire or ask others to draw my game because I create games only for myself. 2. Yes I draw only very basic placeholder stuff with no animations and shading and nothing and yet it still takes up like 90% of my time on a project. I simply never liked drawing and I can not say that I have any talent at it.)

Hey, for the game you should where you shoot someone with a specific coloured shirt, it would be nice if the reticle changed colour to what colour your trying to shoot so you don't need to take your eyes if the game

1:03 is such a great mindset to have. I’m also so hard on myself because I can tell how good/bad my art is, but I like your approach. Your approach over time will only allow you to get better and better at it, too. I’m definitely going to start looking at my own art this way!
