Marion Cotillard WOW what an actress!!! beautiful voice and so classy and elegant woman. She emotes so much from her eyes. She is rare of the rarest kind. love from Nepal.
Wow. Even when she turns to ascend the stairs, the back of her head with that gorgeous, lustrous hair and those beautiful ears ... leaves class in the wake.

@@hotglassfilms ehhh.... The premise interesting, but the story is not 'brilliant'. The plot thread is a little confusing the first time you watch it, and some of the elements just seem like they're there for the sake of a good number (the whole flashback with the prostitute for example). Not to mention there are quite a few elements that are pretty contrived. Like I said, the songs are great. And the acting is phenomenal. It's just the story itself is not fantastic. And there's nothing wrong with that.
@@LilyGrace95 It was a difficult story to adapt, I'm baffled just finding out this exists now. The original, "8 1/2" is a film that devotes completely to the artform that I struggle to see how any other media form could hope to replicate it
@Olivia Dongah I agree with @Hot Glass Films. It was a great movie and each little element tells a story from the prostitute of his youth to the strain of his marriage to Luisa and his many "muse" lovers. The chaos of his life and the idea of creating a movie when he's just a complete mess is perfection. Each actor and actress was amazing in the film.
What depth of emotion. Class. I do not believe it is wholly deliberate. I think it's a byproduct of a more fundamental aspect of the individuals soul. Deliberate behavior. It's only on the surface. Or maybe the other way round. People who have class and care, practice restricting themselves in keeping lower, base impulses from rising to the top. Or very good actors, making you think that they are really classy. The psychopath, the sociopath, are very good at fooling us.

To make them, he lives a kind of dream...in which his actions aren't always what they seem. He may be on to some alternative ice cream. XD
The change in lyrics works so well.
I love the line, "...someone else ago." Yes. That's how I feel about myself when I look back on my life. When I was a teenager, I was someone else.
These two are beautiful arts...perfect chemie
One of my favorite movies. :D and favorite song, of course.
At 4:35, the look on her face is “If looks could kill why are you standing"

Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day-Lewis, dream team.
I wish we could've heard her Be On Your Own
No one would choose Penelope or Nicole over Marion!!
Certainly not.
Yet, there you have it. Ask Fellini about Giulietta; or Guido regarding Anouk, for that matter.
Nonsense. They are all stunning women.
she is the better actress¡¡

Nine is one of those musicals where the songs are AMAZING but the story is, let's be honest, kinda crap... Kinda like Chess is too.
Olivia McDonagh why?🤔
the story is brilliant

Well now I’m sad.
Funny. Yet tragic.
The very thing that we initially love about our partners may over time, become the very thing we learn to despise...
