Honestly aside from the crappy infotainment and horrendous capacitive buttons this is actually a really great car :)

Can’t say the Infotainment is horrendous, very easy to use, and also it doesn’t lag or anything, very good system

@@deutschlanddendeutschen849 as long as you don't go for one of the earlier versions of this MK8 platform, yes. but the early ones didn't have nearly enough RAM for their computer systems to be snappy enough to use whilst on the move.
Capacitive buttons are the worst thing you can possibly do for a car's interior!! it requires you to take your eyes off the road to be able to access the common controls such as heating or radio controls.
For this car ironically i very much recommend the smaller infotainment screen since that one actually has physical buttons rather than the capacitive crap.
Plus you save lots of money which is frankly not entirely necessary to spend in the first place anyway...

Its a new car. That is what brand new, out of the box cars consume. I bought a 2021 Golf 8 eTSI 150PS, same thing happened. Within the first 3 4 months I averaged 8L, 9L, 10L. But a year later, I reached as low as 3.6L and manage to average 6L in city driving with traffic. I have also managed to reach a range of 1000 kms with a full tank. Give the car time.

Wish my diesel 1.6 tdi skoda would have that 3.6l consumption😂

@@emiliospowerballer1441 it’s probably something to do with the engine not getting consistently high temperatures or the fuel reacting to the mechanisms for the valves etc until a year’s worth of ownership when the car has finally settled into daily long term usage.

There must be some error.. its inpossible to get so high figures with that engine. Maybe 5,5 liters is realistic.
