I guess Im asking randomly but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
Love it that this player demonstrates this bass in a pure and natural way; No friggin' effects that fuck up the sound. Just clean sound and nothing else. Finger licking sound!!
Great demo. Thanks so much. I play the same model as a 5 string and I love the Splitcoil with the bridge humbucker blended in. However, I just cannot stand the sound of the humbucker isolated. Just does not work for me.
Yeah, the P style pickup sounds great! On its own and with no EQ boosted I found the bridge humbucker a bit too "nasal", but with the preamp engaged or some sort of EQ boost, it really cuts through in a mix. Still I prefer the P style though :D
@@IvanBassist I really like the tone of a p bass and a stingray. Is it possible with the humbucker in that position to sound like a Stingray? The humbucker is not really in the Stingray position
I love love love your tone in the very beginning of the video! Could you share your bass settings and if you were going clean/direct or if there was processing involved? Thanks! Considering a VM4 for myself. :)
Me encanta Sandberg y justo estoy pensando en hacerme con ese modelo. ¿Qué tal el peso general? Porque eso si es algo que me preocupa... ¡Una review genial como siempre!
Depends on the options you want the spec I want is 2800 euros pricey but certainly worth it ive played quite a few custom Sandberg based all were nothing short of phenomenal
@@kylemaneage468 yea I looked into it and it's pricey and honestly there's a lot of basses that are just as great for way cheaper. I've always been an Ibanez fan. I wish I could try these basses out. I love them. Maybe if I win the lottery xD
@@bassican7 you could always ferry an electra series they are less than 1000$ I wanna say they cost 800 I know that the California bases I played were hands down the most comfortable jazz a p style basses ive played Xotic xj1t is another that's up there with Sandberg expensive to though
so good to see a demo where the palyer is not showing off how good they are, I could really hear the instrument - fantastic!
Thank you, Jo! Happy that you liked the video 😊
Amen, this guy could sell me any bass
@@IvanBassist Yes, great Video!🤘🏻👍🏻

@Benton Amos instablaster :)
Thank you for this straightforward, complete (very rare!) demo of the sounds this bass produces. Your demos are outstanding.
Thanks, Matt! I’m glad you find the video helpful!
I wish more basses had that pickup configuration.

The humbucker is not really in the Stingray position
@@streamerlx4927 you might need to change the pickup
Awesome and beautyfull, nice video, thanks
Thanks for watching!
I have just purchased a Sandberg VM4 and love the stock strings on it! Any idea who makes them and what the gauges are?
They are Sandberg stainless steel strings :) Usually they ship with 40-100 gauge. They sell them at the webshop or you can contact your local dealer

plexiglasseye Thanks! :) I’m pretty sure my signal path was: Bass (neck pickup only) > Darkglass Hyper Luminal compressor (FET mode) > Darkglass Alpha Omega into my Mesa amp.
Great video, very instructive. I have mine coming in in a few days.
Awesome!! Congratulations! Let me know what you think about it :)
Great Demo!!!
Thank you, Luigi!
Great demo, bro!! Both looks and sounds KILLER! :D
Erik Arkö Thanks 🙏🏽
Very helpful demo!! Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Glad that it was helpful!
Love your videos! What kind of strings were you using for this demo?
Thank, Paul! Those were the stock Sandberg strings :)

Me acuerdo que este bajo era bastante ligero. Me gustó bastante. Especialmente el reversed P-bass pickup!
Hello, great bass and review too. What about wheigjt? Thanks.
Groove And Leisure Thanks for watching! This one was pretty light! I don’t remember the exact weight, but it was comfortable on a strap :)
I have the Harely Benton 'knock-off" of this bass, the MP-4mn. Its good enough for me 😄
Haha 😆 Harley Benton does make great basses tho!
Great demo!! Keep up the good work
Thanks, Tommy!
I had the Sandberg California II VM-5and I dont play bass. Im going to learn with it. I hope that is a good bass. I play keyboard
You’re gonna learn bass using a killer bass!! Enjoy the journey 💪🏽
@@IvanBassist thks. I was thinking on Fender Ultra but a friend give the Sandberg for $1.5k so I can denied that offer.
Great choice 😁 You’ll learn the basics pretty quickly, Considering that you already know how to play keyboard :)
How much do these basses run in dollars? I'd like a 5 string
Good question. I’m only familiar with the German prices. They run for around 1.2k EUR. Maybe 1.5k USD?? I’m not sure

You seem to use a really comfortable strap. What brand is it?
Luigi Riba it’s a gruvgear solo strap neo

both pickups active and treble boost, only like these sound, is similar to JB tone
