Greetings from Vietnam. Yes, wifi is hit and miss in Uvita. A lot of great information here!

All very excellent points and advice. Having rented 3 places here in Uvita you really need to take your time looking for that perfect place. I rented a place for the purpose of finding I better place, which I did. It took 3 months, but after seeing several rentals I’m now have been in my longterm rental for several months and it’s perfect for me.
Point of interest. I had a lot of popup ads on this video which could be a good sign for your channel. 😁

Everything you said I agree 👍. We have 2 years here now too. Learning alot from trial and error but still love our lives here. We live in Heredia in the mountains and not as expensive here as it was when we lived at the Beach towns.

Hi Sandra, glad to see you are getting some relief from the high prices of the Beach, not to mention a more refreshing climate I bet.

@@CostaRicaStory absolutely perfect climate. We don't need AC and that is huge for me !! I always have been a beach person but I prefer living in the mountains and visiting the beach. We also have fiber optic fast internet that is reliable and I can find most anything we need in 30 minutes drive to the city. We ended up purchasing our home here in Barva Heredia after 1 year of renting in different areas of CR.

Hey Ed. Thanks a lot for this info. Appreciated as always. Infact, my plans to sell the house here in Germany now are continuing. In about 2 hours I will meet my realtor agent who helps me to sell it. And if all is done, I am planning to get on a plane to CR to see what is available there, highly likely for rent, and something to buy later. If I really like what I see, I will buy it...a small tico style house with a bit of land to plant some stuff. I will surely contact you, if plans will get reality😁👍

Hi Ed, thank you for the information. I am looking for a small place that has free hot springs and near the farmer market. I was staying in LaFortuna, I loved it but it was a little too noisy and I would like to have a little space so I can grow some herbs. Can you please help me finding one? What is the best way to contact you. Really appreciate it. Sophia
