Do you have a video addressing the CONS of living in Costa Rica, including the high prices and import taxes?
Great video thank you 🥰
I have a question, although residency has been filed and one does not need to exit the country, is it still necessary every 90 days to maintain your international drivers license?
What kind of tutor jobs are in demand? Por ejemplo, ensenanza de Musica?
I am in CR today May 30th 2022. The prices on food and booze are highre than Canada. And I used to live in BC. Holly shit! I don't know how the locals live. Seriously!
We economise.... it's not easy, and CR is not a cheap country, but where there is a will, there is a way.
Awesome knowledge!
Tremendous information! Thank you!
the dominican republic

lots in costa rica.. gulf views 1.3 acres 65k. golfo duce heights
Be aware Costa Rica law system encourages squatters. I have been fighting for my home for a year and the system have not help me at all. The system remove all owners rights and gives your home to the squatters. Contracts don’t have any value in this judicial system
Hire a couple of Mexicans to "explain" them that is not nice what they are doing
wow, there was a guy in jaco that was screwed for about 20 yrs, i believe he finally got his properties back
Does it work in reverse? Can I come down and squat and have the government take my side? 🤣
Sounds like the u.s.
Jose Sanchez lawyer since December 1995
No mention of yearly fees to incorporate? Sometimes more than property taxes
Send him a message.
Yes, a lot of new requirements for corporations so do not get one unless you really need it. The attorney can do these requirements for you but once you have residency you can apply for a digital signature and do it yourself.
How is international job market doing in Costa Rica?
You have to work online outside of CR
Where are you guys sitting? Looks like a great place!😊
Esterillos este, near Jaco. 🌊
My family and I are moving to Costa Rica in a few months. We were there a few weeks ago and attempted to get a bank account at BAC so we would have a easier time paying our landlord. We had our passports in hand and we were told we were not able to.
The attorney mentioned you need your passport and a utility bill showing you are renting in Costa Rica. Did you have a utility bill with a CR address? I'm curious about your experience.
@@RedwaterPublishing no, but we did have our signed lease in hand. Utility bills are in the owners name for rental properties, not the tenants, so that wouldn’t be sufficient proof that we were residents.
@@skypt123 Yes, of course, I would think an executed lease would suffice. Interesting.
@@skypt123 you are not considered resident just because you rent a property. Listen again what the lawyer said about what you need to do in order to get a legal residency from the immigration department of Costa Rica.
BAC is not a good option. Go to banco nacional or bcr.
How much for your services as a Retiree ??
3000-5000$ total rip off & nothing is garanteed
basicly he will fill up the formes for you and aply for you
ones he takes the money his not resposible anymore
he will give you small note says that ur filed for you resident , for there one hes done his job
most people get rejected nobody gets resident in costa rica and if you do its for 2 years only and you have to start the whole thing again and again
All I heard from this is "You will pay, you will pay And you will wait and you will wait".
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Sir what is the safest place and beautiful places in costa rica. Also as a tourist as a filipina how long can I stay there without visa? Thank you
Generally you will be given a 90 day visa. After that you can make a run to the border (Nicaragua and Panamá) and go out then back in and renew. A lot of people do that and it has so far worked out for them and we call them perennial tourists.
For filipinas is 30 days can be extended for another 30 days. Border run after that.
government should not own the banks such as in c.r...also being married to a tica do i need a specific amount of funds to come and live there or are their different rules..
You would apply for residency under spousal rights so no financial requirement. Residency is granted to the Spouse under article 73 of the Immigration Law.
If you have been married > 2 yrs, you can skip residency and go straight to citizenship thru TSE. Process for me from application to carta de naturalización was 9 mo. DGME process >3 years due to the pandemic.
@@nicolerogersgeisinger7456. Thanks for that info!
This guy is freakishly knowledgeable.
98% dont last 2 years
can a felon come to Costa Rica from United State and how to get a citizenship later?
Will Costa Rica accept my Public Employee Retirement Association pension. I'm a teacher, and this is the pension I currently pay into. I do have Social Security, but thanks to Ronald Reagan I will lose 39.5% of it the instant that I retire.
Dam, if you have to wait that long why even go through the BS. To each own..
Is it me....? But the last time I checked $2,500.00 per month is not $60.000.00 a year. LOL
Two years..$2500 X 24 = $60,000
Товарищи, снимайте срочно все деньги с карт. Всем банкам п@здец. Проверенная информация!
Why nobody talk about pensionado married to a costarrican?
DONT DO IT. Only advice u need
Why?
Sound like another over reaching police state.
What kind of scam is that ?
Dude you need to get better the way you speak 😜.
Where is your youtube channel doing a better job, that's what I thought.
